Phase One Website Updates

Unfortunately, the people responsible for these great new website graphics are also the ones who work on news posts. As such, please bear with me as I attempt to hobble together a news post on my own...

This new design is the first phase of a larger plan to overhaul the EdgeGamers website over the coming months. In this release, major website elements such as the header and footer got a facelift. Other updates include forum status icons, buttons, and rank tags. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more changes!


Please give a huge round of applause for the people responsible for bringing you these updates!

I was accustomed to the older look, but this one looks good and I could get used to this.

I think that the update looks awesome!!!! Can't believe we have such awesome talent in A Nurse, and Beast.

In Chrome at 1152x864 resolution, the rails get pushed off the side of the page when it loads and I can't scroll back to them. Which actually works out ok, it's like the page is "opening up" :P

In Firefox and IE, however, they still show up. I don't really mind either way, honestly.
 
Looks very clean you kids, very nice job. Color combo works perfect. Huge amount of content that is not overwhelming, hats off 2 u!
 
A new look? I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle that!!

Looks good so far though.
 
It's truly amazing at how many people can still find something wrong or something to change or something they dont like with everything we do. Why cant we just be appreciative of the work done and thank those who did the work?

This is directed to all of you who feel this should have been done or that should have been done. Instead of criticizing those changes, try being part of the solution and join the development team. A simple great job or thanks for the hard work goes a long way!

Embrace change, it is the very fundamental core of forward movement & growth.. don't like something? omg, step up! this organization welcomes that... this is not a socialist party.. push forward!
 
Awesome job to everyone involved! I like the new look. TBH, I don't even see these sidebars or rivets as others had spoke about and I am using IE7.
 
No, i know those will get done and look fine now. I mean the reply for new recruits. They are using the e badge now.

Have any of you heard of 'Private Messages'

If you guys don't start using them, you and I will have problems.

Beyond this point there will be no 'disrespect' to the artists. If you have something to say about the website other then, "Hey, you guys did a great job!" If you feel the need to say anything other then that send them a private message.

Its very obvious of what the title of this thread is "Phase One Website Updates"

If you have comments, questions, concerns. Send them to Nurse as she will take care of them accordingly.

Indeed GardenGrove I think these are great and we don't need to disrespect it is phase one of the changes.
