I feel as if this thread is taking a turn to negativetown, let's steer towards positiveburg please.

I live in neutralville and I am quite not offended because I very much do (not) care about my town. We do want people to come here, maybe, and it's those sentiments that drive people away (just kidding). I may or may not want to not, not start a fight and not, not report you over this.

Nope you get a demo code. I did it at gamestop, you get a code for the demo and that same code gets you the baseball bat.

Na, I wouldnt buy the game if it had all the hats in TF2 as a bonus. I heard the first one was crap and now they want you to buy the 2nd one for $50 and a TF2 Hat, no thanks. Ill stick with my 7 hats and TF2, just my opinion.

I heard it was bad but I'm too lazy to try it for myself so I will just use someone elses opinion as my own like a little sheep.

Because I'm OCD. If I REALLY have to get a pre-order at Gamestop, redeem the hat code or whatever, then cancel the pre-order for store credit, I'll do it. It's a collection thing.

IMO, not really. Cos it wasn't introduced as a bonus when the sales first startred so yeah, this is just a "buy-[inster product here]-get-[insert something completely useless here that seems useful]-for-free"

I hate that so many people see vavle as selling the hat not the product t_t. I preorder L4D2 before the hat thing; however, I can't say I don't like the hat.

I think most negativity stems from a) halo indecent and b) dissatisfaction of L4D drama. This hat just brings it out more so.

Yeah. I was going to get L4D2 no matter what and already had it preordered, but having a hat is a nice bonus i guess.

and I truly believe that any Valve-made game CAN'T be a bad game, and they are the only company i trust to do that. period. I don't care if people say L4D2 is a cheap rip-off, the demo certainly feels different and for the $33 i payed I'd be happy with just new infected and new campaigns. The hat is something I won't wear (even though i dont have any other hats) just because it makes some people VERY unhappy and is completely unnecessary.
