Demoman update!

I used to hate the Sandvich until they made it so you can throw them to a teammate. I don't think I've used the shotgun since to be honest. Sandvich is credit to team...especially burning teammates.

Just to straighten this out, yes teh sandvich is great, unless you actually know how to use the shotty, as for using the sandvich, how many times do i kill you heavys while eating it.. and you eat it right next 2 a healthpack LOL. anways, yes teh kgb is good, and natasha, omg dont get me started!

Well, I must say the Sandvich can be very useful for a couple things, 1. in areas/maps where there aren't enough health kits to go around or they are the 25% ones and you have no medic, 2. healing your own medic when he gets hurt. And yeah, recently I've started to do vent heavy on Blackmesa and I love the sandvich while doing it. Although if a medic starts to follow me around healing me then I go shotgun usually . Its just the meagre amount of health in the vents isn't nearly enough or always in accessible areas.

lol this looks like fun, but we lose our STICKYBOMB launcher? FOR A SHIELD!? if i had the ability to choose between my grenade launcher and the shield i would be fine with that but i dont see myself useing this shield too much with the Demoman simplay because...its...well...yeah, lol

i think demoman REALLY REALLY needs that 4th weapon, im hopeing its another gun :/ seriously

Hmm, there's probably some sorta limit on that charge. I'm thinking a cooldown after a charge, possibly straight lines only. Otherwise, he's a faster scout without the double jump, which I don't think is the idea valve was going for.

I think the general idea valve is going for with these unlocks is "Tanking Close Range". Pyro's, for all their power, are pretty fragile. With a nocrit Melee weapon, the demo isn't going to do NEARLY as much damage as a pyro would, but with the very impressive damage resistance, he has a lot more time to kill people. Never mind his relative bulk when he gets his Eyelander charged with the blood of his enemies.

This is only if both are used though. The sword by itself makes the demo more fragile, relying on sticky jumps and sneakery to close with the enemy and start going Queen of Hearts on them. Presumably, a Fully Charged Eyelander Demo has more health than normal and is faster than normal, but by how much really remains to be seen. I'd peg it at more health than a soldier and fast/faster than a medic. Powerful, certainly, but not a roving, unstoppable monster. And hey, you could still use stickies if you want to.

The shield by itself? Quick getaways, perhaps. Or you can pair it with a bottle, swapping the initial weakness and worse DPS (melee weapons still crit pretty often) for the lack of Scottish Death Power. Dunno, it really depends on the last unlock what else the Black Cyclops will be capable of.

rofl Thereven, halleluja finally you guys will stop using your bows, or at least you will. I hope the others don't, they're easy to kill , I've learned when to duck to send their arrows right over my head. Although I can't seem to duck or dodge yours :facewall:.
