$60 for COD4 = expensive
They were as cheap as like around $30 at one point
No thats not the reason a GTX 260 was so expensive.........they are all expensive right now, all Nvidia cards have been jacked up in price and their price don't equal their performance right now
Get this 5770 for now then:

Its cheapest one and its overclocked and the Fan looks decent, its non-reference i think but the fan also isn't the really cheap looking one like this - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161317&cm_re=5770-_-14-161-317-_-Product
Those fans suck compared to the regular HSF and the one on the MSI/Sapphire Vapor-x

I would stay clear of HIS. There support is....ah who am I kidding, what support?
XFX on the other hand is great. If you RMA something, they'll send a new one no questions asked.

I laughed so hard at the 4th review.
The guy is complaining about not having a Crossfire bridge, when they cost like 99 cents on Ebay. I actually have like 4-5 in my closet. And he says it's half the speed of a 4870![]()
That might explain why the price went up. Because that's a $60 game.
I vote wait for the 300 series to come out and buy a cheaper 285gtx or a 275gtx or buy a reduced ati 5000 series.
Since the source engine is heavily CPU bound upgrading the GPU will make the FPS increase in source games minimal at best, you won't suddenly get 30-40 more FPS in source.
