All players intending on participating in the CS:S Scrim League will follow the proper sportsmanship code of conduct. Failure to acknowledge such will result in loss of round(s), match forfeit, league suspension, and/or league disqualification. It is up to the match officials to determine the penalty (League officials may alter the penalty as they see fit).

All players will follow said conduct:
-Sportsmanship is defined as; sportsmanlike conduct, as fairness, courtesy, being a cheerful loser, etc.
-Respect the mm2 rules (speak in team chat not in public chat).
-The only person permitted to speak during the match is the team captain.
-The only permitted public chat is Good Game (GG) and Good Half (GH), anything else can result in a penalty.
-Any types of taunting will result in match forfeit (hazing, trash talking, persuading).
-If any player does not comply with said conduct he or she may suffer disqualification along with team penalties.
-Anything not listed in present code of conduct is up to league officials discretion.

Demos will be required for every match. Two options are; one demo at the start of every half, -or- One demo at the start of the match until match end.
The demo may be recorded by everyone, or your team captain.

It is required that all players use default skins.
GUI's are acceptable from credible source (i.e. CEVO / ECO / CPL / ect.)

3rd Party Programs (cheats) are not acceptable and will not be tolerated.
ECO League said:
The use of any third party application and or program (cheats essentially) to influence or manipulate the game environment is strictly prohibited. Any such situations will be regarded as a cheating violation and will result in a loss and immediate termination from the event. Subsequently any and all matches that the guilty player played in will be overturned as well.

Section V: Game Play
Each match will consist of two (2) fifteen (15) round halves. Each team will be playing as both Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists. After the first (1) half, the teams will swap, and continue playing another fifteen (15) rounds. The object is for the first team to win sixteen (16) rounds. Once a team has reached their sixteenth (16) round victory the game is over. An official will begin to ask if both teams would like to play out (po). If both teams decide to play out then they will continue playing, none of the rounds count towards the match, it just allows for the teams to continue playing "for fun".

In the event of overtime (score is 15-15), then an official will pause the game and explain the following rules:

-The teams will knife for sides (Winning team chooses).
-Then both teams will play one 5 round half to determine the winner.
-The overtime rounds will count to the match score
(i.e. 18-17)

In the event that the server crashes, the match will pause with the current score standing. The match will resume when all technical issues are fixed and/or when a new server become available. The teams will then play with the score that stood before the server crashed and play out with a different "live on 3" configuration. The configuration consists of two (2) fifteen (15) rounds halves continuing the match from the time of the crash, the configuration allows for sixteen thousand (16,000) dollars instead of the standard eight hundred (800). The time and server variables remain the same.

The live on 3 (three) configuration goes as follows:
-The game will restart 3 times, after the the match is live
-Each player will start with $800 (eight-hundred dollars)
-After the fifteenth (15) round both teams will swap sides and the configuration will restart

Each match will have one or two (1 or 2) officials present. Any and all issues will result in a game pause until said issue is resolved.

Each team is allotted 2 time outs per match, these can be used for anything, each timeout has a maximum of five minutes (5), after that the team who initiated the timeout will begin to be penalized.

Section VI: Scheduling
Match designations will be posted 1 week before the play time. The matches will be played on Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays. If you will not be able to meet these requirements, please do not sign up.

SECTION VII: Penalties
Penalties goes as follows:
First Offense. Warning
Second Offense. 2 Round Penalty
Third Offense. Removal From Match
Fourth Offense. League Suspension

League officials may alter said format if the situation calls for it.

SECTION VII: Scoring and ranking
All record will be kept through the eGO competition module located on the left hand side of the forums. Teams will be matched up against teams of equal rank, and at the end of 5 weeks the top 6 will move on the finals. The finals will consist of a round robin tournament in which each team will scrim once a day. At the end of the week the winning team will be the one with the highest over all win/lose ratio for the final week.
