Movie Poster in my opinion. They are what are supposed to explain what a movie is about basically to a random passerby, more effective for this format.

Interesting thing about that movie, it's being directed by Alexandre Aja. He is know for directing the weaker entries of the new wave of French horror films, High Tension. The man also directed one of my favorite films to come out of the mass wave of 70's horror movie remakes, The Hills Have Eyes.
It's looks like a fun horror/comedy. I mean look whose in it, Richard Dreyfuss, Christopher Lloyd, Ving Rhames, and Eli Roth.

Oh, I feel a little rant coming on:
Currently there are three directors with the last name Anderson working today. This would be all fine and good if their films were of somewhat equal quality...but they're not. In fact the the quality of their films are so erratic that I'm actually afraid to recommend one of the directors in fear of recommending the wrong one. The directors are: Paul Thomas Anderson, Paul W.S. Anderson, and Wes Anderson. You can sort of see why it's easy to get a little confused. So let me just clear it up a little for your sake and mine.
Paul Thomas Anderson: Boogie Nights, Magnolia, Punch-Drunk Love, There Will Be Blood
Paul W. S. Anderson: Mortal Kombat, Event Horizon, Resident Evil, Alien vs. Predator
Wes Anderson: Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Fantastic Mr. Fox

Oh and why I sort of wanted to change from posters to screen shot. I know that a lot of reviews are going ignored and there are a lot of films that I think that people, who are interested in film, should see. I kind of have the feeling that a screen shot of the film might peak someones interest more so than just a poster.
Take the Seventh Seal for example, which is on page four. I gave that film the highest score possible, because it's one damn fine film. The poster though doesn't exactly inspire much, it's just dull looking especially by today's standards. I think comparison posting something like this:
Is preferable to the poster. Or how about Videodrome, page 46:

Story: After being forced from their home... their home being outside a convenience store...you know the one. They travel to Hollywood to seek reparations from a movie that is about to be made about characters based on themselves.
Review: This film was suppose to be the last film in Smith's View-askew-universe. It wasn't, but it still plays out as such. Smith threw just about anything that he could into the production...like think kitchen sink, which includes cameos from anyone Smith could convince to be in the film. It's a funny movie at times, but not really my favorite Smith film.

Story: Once Upon A Time In Nazi Occupied France...
Review: Inglourious Basterds was probably my favorite film of last year. The way that Tarantino turned the WWII genre conventions on it's head was simply amazing. Not to mention the gleefully fun pokes at the character stereotypes that the genre has built over the years. For me this is a freshest take I've seen on a genre as stale as WWII in quite some time.

Review: ...I hate this movie. I really do, with all every cell in my body I despise this film. It's by far and away the most boring film that I was forced to watch as a kid and that sentiment carries on into adulthood. Nothing happens in this film, nothing. How did they get the 100 million dollar budget to make this one...how? It boggles my mind.

Title: The Weather Man

Story: F--- Al Roker
Review: The Weather Man is the story of a man who realizes just how pointless his job is to the world. He is highly paid, but all he does is stand up in front of a green screen relaying information that an actual meteorologist told him just minutes before. To make matters worse his wife divorced him, taking custody of their two kid and moving in with her boyfriend. Oh, and his father is dying and doesn't respect him. His daughter is being bullied for reasons I wont go into and his son is becoming further alienated from him. Our protagonist figures that his salvation is becoming the weather man on Hello America, which offers him a fleeting chance to gain respect from his Pulitzer Prize willing father and possibly may be able to reconcile with his wife.
I liked this movie, there are a lot of people who do not, but I certainly do. It's a dark comedy that is basically about a man who tries to justify his meaningless existence to those around him. Not the kind of movie that is for everyone, but still one that I enjoyed.

i wasnt so sure bout this movie because of the trailers on tv, but after u talkin bout it, ill give it a watch. ill admit that theres some movies that i feel ur dead on bout & others i feel that ur heart isnt into (which i can understand).

That's a movie that I never wanted to see. It just never interested me, I know it's basically Kubrick and Spielberg...but I just couldn't care less.
