Did my knife run out of ammo?

Has anyone else had a problem when you knife a guy in the back and all that happens is some blood comes out? Then of course the guy you were attempting to stab turns around and shoots you.

Yeah, this has happened to me a lot lately, but I normally knife them again, and then it goes through.

Yea thats supposed to be fixed in the next patch, they're sort of reverting it back to the way it was before. lol I've stood being people filleting their backside to no avail so I know how ya feel

That happens because your knife is too dull. What you do is, take a sharpening stone and scrape it along the edge of the knife blade. Repeat this for 5 minutes, you may have to ask the guy you are about to knife to not move until you are done sharpening the knife. You can tell if the knife is running low on sharpness when the little invisible bar in the center of the screen becomes even more invisible.

This has happened to me quite a bit lately, but usually the second slice cuts through. I figured at first it was because they might have body armor on or something.

A bullet to the head always works as a last resort.
