I'm having some problems with my dods game. Anytime I play it, it causes my computer to crash. Not the game, the whole computer. It doesn't blue screen, just one minute it's there then the next I'm staring at a monitor that says "no signal." It does it randomly. Sometimes I can play for 10 minutes then it'll crash. Other times I can play for an hour then it crashes. This is the only game it does it on. I can play bc2 for hours on end and it won't crash. I initially thought it was possibly the source engine, so I played tf2 for 4 hours without a problem, so I know it's just something wrong with dods. All my software and drivers are up to date. And I have not changed anything. I have not uninstalled it and reinstalled it to try and fix it because I'm lazy. I have quite a few skins that I'm just to lazy to reinstall. So I was wondering if someone had some insight into the matter before I do reinstall it. Again, any help is appreciated.

Cpt. Kirk,

I know you're lazy(According to your post), but you know what I'm fixing to get at:
Uninstall and reinstall DOD:S.

You say you have no other problems with any other game but DOD:S?
DOD:S and your video card(Maybe something else, but we're gonna start with this) aren't agreeing with each other, causing a shutdown.(So I assume, as you say this is the only game it happens on.)
Maybe DOD:S hates you, maybe your video card hates you.
Maybe your custom skins trigger something in your GPU.

Another concept we can try is uninstall your DOD:S completely, backup the skins and play it on default mode. See if it crashes. If it continues to crash, it eliminates those probabilities. If it doesn't, problem solved.

Thanks, I knew it was coming. Just thought I'd get some input from the community first before I did the inevitable. I shall uninstall and reinstall and see what happens. Thanks again for the reply.

I think you could do a verify game integrity first before you uninstall/reinstall

but probably too late!

Nope. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. I didn't add any skins or custom elements. It still crashes my computer. I'm totally at a loss on this one, so any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated again.
