You could get a 18,5 or 17 inch monitor e.g. on newegg for about 110$, but I'd be surprised if these ones would be such a good choice if you could spend maybe just a few more bucks.

I wouldn't expect much from this. Personal opinion. I've had bad luck with any eMachine/Gateway I've touched XD
If you could perhaps pay about 40-70 more dollars. you could get up to about I think a 23/24
Here's a good deal. That is if you don't care if it's refurbished. I believe this is the model before mine. I have an Acer X213H. It's really nice.
