Well, I think it gives CS:S a less serious and more funny aspect, mainly because of the new interface, so I hope it will calm down some of the hardcore gamer and they'll realize it's a game.

Ive played cs since 1.3, so being able to wall people again is nice =] the only thing that gets me is how my fps dropped by like 50%, went from 250-300 on assault to 125

Like I was in one of this BHOP server and its rly messed up.
And also when CS:S updated, there was 1 jail break server and it was soooo messed up, everyone was freekilling and admins couldnt even do anything.
Seems like CS:S gotta fix a lot of things =P

I'm gonna hold my judgement until all servers are back up and any fixes that need to be mad are. Right now I have to say all I notice are the visual differences, which I like.

I like it, I can actually run CS:S now. Dont know what made it better but its better.

And Mods will still work, they just need to be updated. The update DOESNT mean that we have to play bomb planting or hostage rescueing all the time, it means we can do everything, but we just to need to update our servers and update our plugins then everything will be back to normal.

There is a few bugs such as CT and T skins swapping for some players and the voice chat not appearing but they are minor and Im sure will be patched within the next few days. So Calm down, think about it, and its really not a bad thing.

Uncheck where it says 'show map list' in the server listing page. Fixed.

I really don't care about the update, its nice I like the new visuals they added but since the Orange Box engine doesn't like my computer it lags more then it used to.

Give it time it will all be sorted out soon.

I dont really care about the update, aside from the fact that I can finally play CSS natively on my mac.

I am glad that the killcam can be disabled, because otherwise I might have stopped playing. In my opinion, that has no place in a game like CSS. Most of the bugs will probably be fixed in time.
