Do you like new update?

I am more on the border because I think it's a step in the right direction w/ the achivements and stats, but not being able to play eGO jailbreak for a while sucks =\

Yeah like textures and hit boxes are pretty good, i just dont like how they patched mods D=

Thats just Valve, they break everything. They didn't block them, its just the new code doesn't work with the old code (SM). But thats already been fixed, as the folks at AlliedModders and SourceMod came to the rescue and updated all the code for SM and slowly for the additional plugins.

Also Jail Break is up... No one else should be saying its not up... its up... again Jail is up.

I really don't like it. I'm a low end player, which means that my machine is kind of old and really not up to par with newer models. Which means, I don't play new games on it. I could always run CSS with no problems because old game + old comp evens out. Now, with this new update, its almost unplayable for me. I've been playing ever since the beta of the original Source and find it sad that they updated it. Instead, they should have just made an entirely new game and let those who enjoy the original be.

Meh. Most people are allergic to change. People are going to live with it, and then grow to like it. Next year, people will be laughing at how bad the old version was.

Like the first time someone gave me a mango flavoured ice cream I wanted to shove it back in their face. But then I tried it, and now I love it.

I don't really have a problem with it, i was actually surprised that a lot of people didn't like it. Their even saying something about a petition about changing it back. I don't think it matters how many people sign it, i highly doubt that Valve will change it back.

I love it!!!! I dont like how people over react and get all mad about all the bugs/lag/low FPS/slow game performance. It's an update, there will be stuff like that and people need to chill. Those things will be fixed soon. Not to mention all of the complaining I had to hear about on the server. Thats the only thing i'm displeased with, all the peoples complaints.

The only reason I will be playing is to host event for you kids, because I love to.
But I will not be playing in the servers very.. often.

for the most part it is ok. I like most of the new updates. Especially love the render fixes and better hit boxes. Like the new score menu. However I see no real point to achievements and a few other things like motion blur. Motion blur doesnt even seem to have much of an effect and the achievements to me are worthless unless there is some sort of reward
