Do you like new update?

I like the new update. They changed a lot of things around that will help the "less serious" gamer.

The hitboxes should have stayed the same though. For the older players, they got used to it. They mixed it up, and now everything is wack.

Maybe its cause im used to the old one..but i dont like it at first :/
the death cam buggs me alot..reminds me of tf2.
also achivements..they shouldnt be in css.
css was special cause it didnt have those things that htey have now..
but maybe its just me..

In my personal opinion i really hate it. I just lag up a lot now, and i get high pings for some reason, so my css crashes sometimes.

liked the achievements and improved textures but it seams like the hit boxes are even worse now than before for me.i done a lot better before the update.

overall i dont like it. The beta was MUCH better and they just messed everything up. Change it back to the beta version PLEASE

yeah, my only real complaint is the massive lag/drop in fps for me. nfortunately, it's from 40 fps (which is alright) to upper 10s, which is really bad.

The other complaints like killcam and weird scoreboard I can probably get used to

It doesn't feel anything like TF2 to me. TF2 is still a completely different game. Eh, maybe it's because I only played TF2 on Xbox. As far as I can tell, all they changed is the look. I still suck just as bad as I always have

I love the new hitboxes. I used to feel like I was getting ripped off constantly, but after last night, it feels like justice has been restored. People actually died when I shot them. It was chill.

That's not CS:S, the CS:S I played 4 years ago was perfectly fun and fine.
This update ruined the game for me personally, not only with the fps drop and lag increase, but with the orangebox engine and the kill cam and the 144 achievements. Oh please, spear me.
It's not that I can't accept change, I like it when things are changed a little, but I mean this is just ridiculous to me, in all the years of playing Counter Strike I have never wanted to not play so badly.

This update is terrible. This is coming from a guy that's been playing CS since it was just a mod for half life. I am by no means a pro player but I am decent enough. I have been in clans in the past and I have played in tournaments. This update has completely thrown me off for some reason.

There are certain situations where I know I am going to kill someone as soon as I click the mouse button. When something sort of clicks and I just know I am going to be the one to get the kill. Those situations no longer occur for me. There were times before the update where I knew I had the upper hand and now it feels so different to me. I will literally have my crosshair right on an enemy's head only to be rewarded with a miss. In the old version it would have been a headshot. It also seems people can take more damage. I swear I am having to pump people full of more rounds than usual to take them down.

Something is obviously wrong enough with this update that it has completely thrown off my game. I have no comfort zone and feel like a total noob and I gotta say it's ridiculously frustrating. I think the old saying "If it ain't broke don't fix it" applies to this game as well. There was nothing wrong with this game. They obviously tweaked things from the way they were before gameplay wise because if they hadn't I wouldn't be having such a rough time.

I also don't like the new interface and in game menus. They look way too much like Team Fortress and out of place in a game like CS. The old menus were kind of a throwback to the old days of CS. If I wanted to play something campy and stylish I would play TF2. When I want to play something competitive and intense I go with CS. Now it looks like TF2 and plays a lot like DOD:S.

In my opinion this update shouldn't have been shoved down people's throats. A lot of us and more likely the old school guys really liked the game the way it was. It never got old to me that's why I still play so much of it. I think though if this is the way it's going to be I will be stepping away from CS. They should have released this update as a standalone deal for people who wanted it to be different.

I don't know what the problem is. Seems like you guys are making excuses because your doing bad. Personally i'm doing A LOT better. Also everyone is saying it looks like tf2. In no way does it resemble tf2. Maybe the scoreboard, but all new games have it. Why just blame tf2 on this one? IMO it's a great update.

I dont really care for it. Nothing has really changed for me. Most of the complaints ive heard about the update are just about mods, and if the creator of the mod think its worth saving then the creator will just remake it! Not that big of a deal. And if the creator doesnt remake it, someone else will most likely do it.

Its only been the first couple of days since the update happened, things arnt working properly and people dont have the patience to wait a few weeks until everything has been fixed. I personally think people are getting angry about it for no good reason.

I don't know why everybody is saying that their FPS dropped because my FPS increased very much. I also agree with Korgot in regard to the game becoming a bit more light-hearted. I'm glad that this update was implemented.

I don't like it because it seems like everyones dead at the round. Of course, that's just personal preference, but it seems everyone kills everyone alot easier
