Ok, is it just me or do you guys sometimes see the opposing team the same skin as your team? Like I see cts as a t skin, and I can't kill them at all when they're that skin. Also, sometimes when I die, someone kills me from across the map, but he's really not there, but on my screen he was. So many glitches, they have to be fixed...

The new update was a rebirth to CS:S for me. It's still feels the same but with a little more purpose. I'm on and off with this game, after almost 4 years away from it.

hate... fps dropped, i lag, get kicked ever 2 rounds. been playing the game for 5 years now and after 2 days i hate it. the game was perfectly fine they "updated" the hit boxes for noobs, so they can get some kills

I personally think it doesn't improve CS:S in a way, I don't think its really that necessary. Its starting to cause lag and all the textures are messed up. So I see Terrorists with Ct skins... and yeah... it's caused a bit of trouble for me :/

Thats not why they updated, it was for Macs. Macs are for some odd reason not very compatible with the source engine so they ported to Orange box nothing to do with noobs and hitboxes

The hitboxes are definitely different though. I can't seem to hit anything in this one. I have also found in practicing against bots to try and get a better feel for the update that you can earn achievements against them. I would have preferred to earn those online instead of against bots. Bots are just good for practicing.

Its a really great update, at first I didn't like it but now since the problems and bugs are fixed i'm fine with it.

I like it. I'm big on unlocking achievements. I remember when L4D came out I was saying damn, I wish css would get some achievements. Now look! I'm having fun again, even though my beloved zombie mode is crap now, and the death cam is a lil lame.

I'm actually pretty thrilled with the update. I honestly havent touched CSS in over 3 years, quite honestly and yesterday I got on for 2 hours and really enjoyed myself. I mean I sucked horribly, but I had fun. The hit detection seems a LOT better, it looks nicer, doesn't seem nearly as laggy or buggy. I'm really glad they did this. Thanks Valve for letting me dust off a game I had dismissed indefinitely and enjoy it!
