Do you like new update?

I hate it. I quit CS:Source and found about edge gamers through Insurgency. the new CS:S sucks.

You can turn the kill cam off in multiplayer options. I agree though, it really is pointless

By all means I should love it as I've been doing so much better with it but "something" just doesn't feel right. I do wish they didn't change the scoreboard and have that mvp info stuff. Hurts my eyes to look at

I agree with Eyeless. CS:S was played how it was for so many years, and everyone loved it. Then they decide to port it over because a few people on their forums asked to do so? I think they should have had a poll or something.

I don't mind the update, it's just everytime they patch up one thing something else breaks. I want to play CS:S without have to customize my launch parameters my computer can play CoDMW2 on full settings and it doesn't have these problems if i play CS:S on low i get crappy fps.

I wish they left CS:S how it was, made a new Game Engine because source is just out of date, and created CS 2 already.

i thought the update was a waste of time, achieves and killcam are pointless, the new interface hurts my eyes for some reason, and it seems like the spray pattern with ak is different, im still getting kills but it doesnt feel "right" to me SAD FACE

Steam actually released the update knowing the beta was a complete failure. They obviously didn't care about the players. The knew the forums had bad feedback but it still didn't stop them. Doesn't matter to me though cause I've liked it from the get-go.

They didn't think the beta was a failure because the majority of the players who were on the beta didn't even give feedback. Those who did gave very minor problems, which were all solved. The problem with the beta is that not enough people gave feedback and let steam know of the problems before they released the beta, resulting in one giant cluster bomb of problems. All of the problems they had solved in the beta also seemed to be resurfacing, as a result of the minimal amount of feedback steam received from the beta.

All in all it is the communities fault the beta was a flop. They asked for it on the forums, steam offered a chance to make it work out, people just downloaded the beta and didn't give any feedback, the beta crapped out.

Personally, I love this update.
1) Achievements & Stats - Record keeping and achievements and just awesome.
2) Graphics - Some graphics seem a little bit better and nicer.

The only thing I dont like is the texture of the forcefield in jailbreak, ugly and looks so dull.

All they did was improve the game... Why is every1 raging? The hitboxes are a lot better,and everything looks sharper. Plus the achievements are another thing to go for

i think its ok only problem is you cant look around in dead mode while pressing tab because of the mouse even though theres nothing to click. ( i like to fly around the map when im bored and take quick glances at the scoreboard(yes im that cool))

but it cant so i still happily plug along playing in the now ruined 2 server jail system
