Using the flashlight crashes my Game

Immediately when I turn the flashlight on, my game just crashes. Has this issue been addressed already? I was just in a pretty good game, and it was ruined because of that.

Thats weird. Ive never heard of someone crashing because out their flashlight!

My game starts to lag alot when I turn on my flashlight, but it doesn't crash.

This is happening to me too.

I Googled this and all I came up with are suggestions to reinstall CS:S.

Try turning down your shadows in the video menu. There is a new effect where shining a flashlight on an object in front of you produces moving and changing shadows behind that object against the wall. It's spooky and cool.

Seriously tho...

Your FPS gets soo low the game automatically thinks that CS:S stopped working and it crashes...
Upgrading your GPU would solve that....

My game lags a lot when it starts up at the menus and is unplayable. So don't feel left out, I'm just waiting for that update to come out.

Crashed the first time I used the flashlight. Then two days later I tried it and it worked, so dunno fixed itself.
