eGO kalt server

Hello all. I'm new to these forums, though I've played on some of the eGO DOD: S servers off an on for a few months.

I just wanted to drop a quick note to the admins of the kalt server. I had backed off of playing Day of Defeat: Source a while back, primarily because the servers I had frequented had become overwhelmed with the kind of adolescent, insulting behavior that makes the Internet such a great place to hang out. Mind you, I'm thick skinned (I've played my share of 1.6 and CSS on public servers), but I guess I'd gotten used to a more congenial gaming environment and got weary of all of the annoying behavior that had overtaken the servers I normally played on.

After a couple of months, I got the DOD: S itch again and took a stab at the eGO kalt server. It's quickly become my favorite server. The admins do a great job with keeping it all running smoothly and handling the occasional out of control idiot and the regulars that play there are a friendly bunch. Granted, I get owned many times, but I always have fun. It's a great server to game on.

Long story short, I know it takes work to run and admin a server with a large number of players, and the eGO kalt server is one of the best run servers I've run across. Thanks to everyone here that makes it such a great experience.

Thanks for your imput, I must admit Kalt is a good server and is run well by our member's and our pub's who like the good clean fun we all enjoy. Some time's I am overwhelmed by the amount of player's who respond to an out of line player.
It is good to see so many player's working together to keep our server running clean and abuse free.

Thanks Duck, it's always refreshing hearing positive feedback. Most people wouldn't go out of their way to register on our forums just to submit praise, so, many thinks are owed to you indeed. You should definitely try out our other servers; I'm sure you'll find them just as well-kept, if not a little less [Kalt fanboy]

Yeah sometimes we do run into some rule breakers on the server but trust me go in Avalanche server youll more than likely get a kick or a ban in there in a 30 minute period. That servers really bad about rule breakers. I dont know why either

thanks indeed sir!! i play kalt all the time and have to say its the friendliest well run of all ego servers....just seems more relaxed...in my honest opinion thats where the best players go...very nice to hear someone say good things about my beloved kalt..cheers!!

Yes I play kalt a little bit myself and it is truly an awesome server!

I consider myself a KALT regular. a Great server. Some excellent team work develops on that server, seemingly naturally too. Great players on there most nights.
