Uninstalling CS:S

Yesterday, I downloaded a whole bunch of skins (hands, knife, m4, ak, and awp). When I played for the first 3-4 hours it was perfectly fine. Then, it started to get very laggy and stuttery. My game froze every 5 seconds and it seems like I was teleporting. I checked my net graph and my "in" on the net graph went up to 48,000 :scared: then it went back down to 1,000. It kept popping up and down causing the game to be extremely laggy.

Today, I decided to reinstall the game. So I went to control panel>programs and features (I use win 7). I uninstalled it, however, it wasn't fully uninstalled. All the files and folders were still there. Right after uninstalling I reinstalled, it only took 10 minutes to download when it usually took me 2 hours. So I went back into the game and everything was the same, I didn't have to download any maps, all my skins were still there, and I was still lagging like hell.

Afterward, I deleted ALL of my skins, went back into the game, and it was still laggy. I hate this, is there anyway I can completely delete everything on CS:S (all files, etc) and reinstall the game like I never had it on my computer?

Thanks if you can help. :)

Go to c:/program files/steam/steamapps/yOurName

Delete the Counter strike source folder

I just heard that you deleted a wrong file that contains your profile for your steam.... is that true?

Yep. If you have stuff in there you still want (maps, sounds, etc.), then get rid of the Materials, Models, and individual skins that weren't in the folder. That is what I did.

Thanks for helping guys! I reinstalled it and it works fine now.
Plus, I reinstalled the skins too. Doesn't seem so bad (yet...).
