because you have the OPITION to buy stuff -_- you have the SAME EXACT chance to find it randomly or even craft it from old items as you ALWAYS HAD so basically nothing changed with the shop system other than the people willing to pay money for a stupid in game hat can if you wanna wait around or try and craft it LIKE YOU DID AND WOULD HAVE TO BEFORE then you can

and i keep seeing people all over teh forums flipping out thinking valve is gonna make us pay for polycount pack

doesn't prove anything you still need to pay money if you want the advantages of getting class sets since the chance of getting the hat for the set via random drop or crafting is way to low to relie on

To get a certain hat for a certain set is like a 1 in 64 chance of finding it, plus the drop rate of a hat. To get the set bonus, you need the hat.

So, the kids that buy a hat for 18$ will get a set bonus and get an advantage.

Quit making a big deal about the advantages. The bonuses that the packs give you is very easily countered. They don't even give that much of a boost to anything. The only one that gives a good boost is the sniper one. Which is easily countered with a soldier. Every other bonus isnt enough to unbalance the game.

The Weapons are Dirt bad, Im sorry, but to me, they just screwed the Spy knife WAY UP!!!

Should have been like 10-20% faster Movement speed.

Must Prime Backstabs or something, but that would have been better for Ockhams Razor.

Anyway, they messed up.

The new Spy knife is ok. Already have a good tactic to use with that knife. The only real thing that they messed up on was the no headshot sniper stuff

yeah it's kind of creepy seeing someone disguise as me right after dying. Then again it reminds me of "meet the spy" so I guess it's not all that bad

Yea. Its going to be fun falling in behind a line of enemies and just stab stab stab and no one ever hears a thing nor do they know whats going on........until its too late that is.

It's exactly that. Garbage. It completely revamps the sniper-on-sniper dynamic. Either snipers learn to be charged, body-shot campers, or they play different classes. No thanks. Game over for me, I think.

The spy knife is pretty good. I got the hang of it so far. You just have to change tactics a bit. Plus, It just came out, so you really can't say if it sucks or not until you've fully tried it. Just sayin'.

They arent heading down any roads. The items are still easy to get. They balanced the buying stuff with not being able to use trading, crafting or customization. And like i said earlier the bonuses the packs grant are easily circumvented by just about every class in some way. Its no big deal. They need to make money some how. And look at how many free updates they provided to us in the past. Im not directing this specifically at you Prisoner. This is going to everyone complaining about the pay for items thing.

New sniper rifle is body shots only + jarate on hit. Complete sniper set protects sniper from dieing to headshots.

Basically, they made the lucksman look like a good idea.
