Inmate/guard psychology

Haha, thanks Artimus. I originally was going to major in English, but I changed my mind to undecided. Something the suits the military more. I've been thinking of minoring in English though; either English or military science.

And Wildspark, how are you a cannon fodder and a rogue at the same time? Lol :)

That's just how good I am at jail

to long did not read. Lol no i actually read all of it since i only play jail and i can say this is pretty well made and accurate.

It took me about two hours to write. I understand not everyone will read it, and that's fine with me. I just feel that people that do read it get a better knowledge of what kind of inmate or guard they are. I also believe it will give them an advantage over the prisoners as a guard to be able to identify what kind of prisoners they are dealing with.

Very well written post, mind if I add one?

The Team Player- (kind of a mix between daredevil and observer, but helping your teammates as well)

The team player does whatever he can to set up his team to rebel. He will constantly throw himself into danger in order to secure his teams rebellion. (I think you know what these guys are like, and you can write this a lot better than I can. Examples would be gunplanting your fellow Ts, rushing the armory button to allow the doors to open like in Maryport, rushing at 10 guards just so a gun is on the floor, things like that.)

Still a very excellent post.

I can add a Team Player section and divide that in to different types of team players. Thanks for that opinion sequel, I'll see what I can do!

Thanks for the suggestions again, Sequel! A new section has been added under Inmate.

F. Team Player
1. Martyr
2. Decoy
3. The Supplier

Keep the suggestions coming!
This thread is very good, but given enough constructive criticism, it could be perfect!

P.S. Sorry for the double post!

everytime im in jail i get either II.C.1. or II.C.2. for warden
its horrible, and why i don't play it anymore

Great thread Fl!p, it looks like it was alot of work and it certainly payed off. :)

The Suicidal Inmate

An Inmate that will jump forwards towards the Guards and commit suicide

i remember when all the Ts were stacked and we all suicided xD

Im a relaxed guard most of the time. I do have to dish out a super-st every now and then. I still hate how people say they like that...

The fun thing to think about is that relaxed guards and honest guards have a lot in common, but they are not the same. Honest guards are honest all the time, and a relaxed guard could become a fired guard if he gets pissed off enough to show his true colors. :)

Psychology is also a fun thing to think about. Has anyone ever just stopped and asked why they do things? As a guard do you ever ask yourself why you HAVE to be such a precisionist? There is no real reason. The guard or inmate we choose to be has a reflection of either how we are as people, or how we feel at that exact moment in time.

Mind boggling. :)

Lol nice job mate on this excellent post. xD

I agree with Mayhem, it should be stickied for future reference to new comers to Jailbreak.

As for me, I found my place on the list:

2. Quiet

These inmates only talk when they must. Only will they talk during guard games, or when asked a question that they feel they HAVE to answer. Quiet inmates can be very tricky for guards to predict.

a. The inmate will launch him/herself at a guard at any given moment, without any kind of warning. The guards usually don?t know how to treat these inmates (solitary, ST, or free day) as they show no language that is threatening or peaceful.

b. The inmate follows orders without question and usually has a very good chance of getting last request due to the fact that they listen 90% of the time while other inmates are blabbering and not paying attention. They do not complain, they do not question, and they do not back talk. They are there for the sole purpose of having fun, and do not care (or just ignore) about other inmates that speak in the server.

While sometimes I get out of hand and shout out a lot of random stuff, I like to stay quiet, pay attention, and surprise the gaurds with a rush. :D

I'm a Relaxed CT...always afraid of making a mistake. Should be more strict -.-
Though I am thinking of writing a sheet of paper with all sorts of tricksy, original strategies for wardening.

As an inmate, refer to A2b, Quiet

I tried to make this as realistic as possible.
Jail is like a complicated puzzle. When all the pieces are separated, it can seem very confusing for one that is trying to put the puzzle together for the first time.
So I wrote a guide to help out newer players figure out how us jail veterans strategize.
