No, it wouldn't fit right. The truth of the matter is, field medics can do very little to heal serious wounds in actual combat, especially when troops have no body armour like in WWII. If you took a gut shot, it wasn't like the medic could just walk up you, put bandages on it, then kiss it and make it all better like a boo boo. You were probably going to die if you were more than a mile or two out from the base, and even then if they couldn't get you back quickly you might have died. The way DoD is played also prohibits a medic class, because the weapons are made to kill in only a few shots and having a medic would just make it wierd.
