Perhaps I do fail with him, only playing him once in Aram. Still, it's mostly an inside joke to whoever played Aram last wednesday, so thanks for trollin my good mood :thumbdown:

Well for Aram, when everyone is ranged except me (Except the other team, which was all tanks) There isn't much I can do. I could run out there and get myself killed, while attempting to try to fight, but that would make me just feed. Still, I would initiate and end up making the team kill the other team and push. It was a really close game in the end.
By the way, I posted this to actually find out who supports Garen, because every Garen I have seen fails hardcore. As a first time Garen I felt that I should express my opinion on eGO. If you want to troll me, fair enough, but maybe you should try trolling successfully on 4chan before trying it here. They'll care more than I do. And Jorzanator, your forehead can't be too bad if you still have the brain power to still type, so stop QQing.
If you want to further argue with me on Garen, PM me.
I will admit, his ult is good.

For a first time, I honestly don't know how to use him. But from what I got after playing 1 game with him, he has very little potential. This is my opinion afterall.

That's all he's good for. And it's mostly made for stealing kills, when the enemy is weak. And what's the cooldown on it... 2 minutes? Around that, yes.

That's why there are CDR runes and items. There are a few good items that are for melee dps/tank or fit those categories nicely.
If you're worried about killstealing that would only be during laning. After that, unless it's clearly 1vs1 and you herp de derp in and get the kill with your ulti, it's a great skill to finish off someone in team battles. Just imagine Brolaf. He just gets worse as his HP dies off, so if Garen pops his ulti, your team will most likely still be alive after.
Besides, Garen is actually pretty good against ranged. More so casters. You pop your W (the shield) and hit Q for your charge and go whack them for silence. Then start spinning your ass off and possible kill them or at least give them a lot of hurt. If there's two there, then it's a bit harder, but seeing your team mate incapacitated, they'll surely be backing up as well.

I had all the casters on my team that fight. I was fighting all tanks. See my problem? When they got low hp, their armor/magic resist would reduce the damage. My ult would do 10% of their hp when they had 15% left. Basically, it didn't do anything at all.

But I MUST RAGE! I actually tried him again. Did a lot better, but couldn't do much except ult someone at low hp. He's not my champion, and now knowing this, I will never play him again. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU- Mundo is OP.
