First you find the quantum theory in the problem
Then you dissolve the main component between each problem
Finally you wrap it up with a simple vortex equation test that uses the omega function.

Wut 0_0

It is a matter of in which order you solve the different problems, but in the correct order, the correct answer will be 9.

But the distributive property does not actually result in 1, because the coefficient is 6/2, not 2. (ASIDE: That would be written as 6?[2(1+2)]) It's the same as 6*(1+2)/2 which results in (6+12)/2 -->18/2 which is 9.
Also, because the coefficient is 6/2, it could be used as 3(1+2) which is 3+6 which is also 9.

Crap. Alright, that might solve some confusion if people actually read it.

Your signature rocks! DUB FX is AWESOME!!! I can't believe I finally saw someone else who knows who he is! lol

EDIT: Oh, and the answer is really 42. Haven't you guys learned that's the answer to life, the universe, and everything?? Noobs......

Indeed he is awesome!! And 42 is the answer to life and the universe...
But the answer is still 9
6?2 = 3
(1+2)= 3
3*(3) = 3*3
3*3 = 9
ANSWER IS 9

Parenthesis denotes multiplication in Algebra and higher level math.

So, here's teh breakdown.

6?2(1+2)
^ This equals three, so the next step would be 6?2(3)
6?2(3)
^ This also equals three, so the final step would be to multiply the two sums, meaning... 3(3) or 3x3=
3(3) = 9.

Now, a more complicated algebra problem would be ...

Use the following numbers once each, with the following functions allowed between them
( x, ? , + , -, )
The sum must equal 24.

You can also do this same question using 1, 3 , 4, and 6.

Anyone care to try?

Your numbers are 3, 3, 7, 7.

Ignore me, I misread the 24 as 23. LULS. + Someone already gave the 24 answer :(.

(3/7 + 3)7 = 24
(3/7 + 3/1)7 =24
(3/7 + 21/7)7=24
(4)7 = 24

having some trouble on the other one...

Actually, it's the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything, which doesn't happen to be 6?2(1+2).

For all the people getting 1 using the distributive property, I will repeat.
The coefficient is 6/2, not 2.
