Computer For around 1000$

I have a budget of around 1000$.

I would like to run the newer games of this year at at least medium settings, and I a generous amount of storage space.
I would also like to buy the parts from Newegg.

nice build i would bump the psu to a 850w ish so that he can add another 6950 later then cross fire also i would go with the NZXT M59 Great case great cooling. and os there r other means to get it ~~~~~~~~~~I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~but saves money the ram is a bit to much price wise after all this is a buget build. i would down grade it to 4gb to save money and add more parts to this build such as http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...0231277&cm_re=4gb_ddr3-_-20-231-277-_-Product great combo thoe. and the gpu i would go with a 6970 instead of the 6950 if u choice to unlock it to a 6970 u will lose a bit of the gpu potential.

If he plans on playing APB at any point, he'll need 6-8GB to be able to play it without Out of Memory errors, especially on Windows 7 or Vista. 8GB being the better option.

I would say that that is an excellent build, however if possible the PSU could use a nice buff to 800W so that if the op can crossfire later on.

The NZXT. M59 is a case that excels at cooling, so I would recommend that also. As for your Windows, there are other ways to acquire such an expensive operating that may be more cost-effective, however I do not recommend dabbling into that field.

As this is a budget build, I would recommend downgrading your ram to 4GB.

I would also recommend going with a 6970 instead of a 6950.

I, however, disagree on the PSU. If you're planning on Crossfire (and dumping the $300 into it) then 750W is good. If you're not (and since you've been on the same rig for 6 years I suspect not) then you shouldn't really think about that. Without Crossfire a 450W PSU should be enough, 550 if you want more headroom. I also don't know anything about the Antec HCG line. Not sure what kind of quality it is.

Other than that, huck's build is basically exactly what I would look for.

I am willing to build, I have speakers, mouse, keyboard, but I am planning on getting a new monitor soon. And I do need an OS.

And it's 1000 before taxes, I have room to raise my budget.
