Hey guys Panda here, and I just wondered what your guys thoughts were about Jailbreak and if they are the same as mine if not, let me know :)

*This is not a QQ thread or to start any arguments, but would really like to know others opinions*

*Also I would like to remind everyone... This is a game, Not real life (even though some take it as it) Jailbreak was meant for both CTs and Ts to have fun, not 1 side dominate the other and ruin the Experience! :)

As many of the regulars know who play Jailbreak, I am a very active person and have realized some things over my time there. And some is good and some is bad, (but so is life haha)

-Dont worry, its both Postive and Negative!

First is that when it comes to the startings seconds of Jailbreak a warden is decided, and that will usually determine 2 things, "Fun" round or "Hell" round. By this I mean that within first couple seconds of the cells open, you will see very strict wardens/players that will kill a Terrorists for the slightest thing, such as moving or knifing. While 75% of the time, the orders are to "Shift walk backwards knifing distance, Freeze by 5;05" I dont think that watching over 50% of a team die, to starting Orders is right at all. Terrorists, should either be killed for rebeling or in games. Of course if they refuse to listen as well. But many rounds I, and fellow players will witness at time 10+ players go down before it hits 4:50. And this causes many problems... Many new players will join, and then die and leave. Because many JB servers are not like eGO which is both a gift to some and hell for others. And we are losing many good/potentional players due to this action that occurs. My main concern to this, is why have the Ts freeze at all? In most maps, there is: 1 vent cell, 1-2 guns. So for these minor things. why be so strict to Ts, just control the situation. Yes... Many will argue that "They just arent listening", sure im positive some are, but some might bump their mouse/keyboard or in any situation causing them to be killed. And then have to wait up to 10 minutes for a new round, just for possibly it to happen again. So what im saying for this, CTs take your hands off your triggers and relax some :)

Also I would like to point out, that Jailbreak has also made itself a "Clone to rounds" And by that, I mean that it seems that we are doing the same thing, every round, but different people. At thats not always bad. But I believe that some players need to be more creative with orders, instead of the constant games of "Simon Says, Spray, Couch game". Many players this is out of their (comfort zone) but that is ok, eGO is about doing new things and meeting new people. Dont be afraid to try new things as a CT or a new player, if you mess up, dont worry there will always be more chances.

Lastly for the bad, I would like to points out "Last Requests"... Once again applies to CTs. (Dont be hatin on me either lol im a big CT fan :P) As both guards and wardens, we put these Ts through hell, Games/Freeshooting/Killing/Constant commands. Yet I still see some CTs sitting out of LRs because "I dont want to, or I dont like it"... And I find that completely wrong and pathetic. Whatever the LR is have some fun with it and do it. Worst that happens is you die for 30 seconds and I promise you will respawn next round. Will the typical game is s4s or storytime. Ts try to get creative and CTs refuse to partake in the activity, and I dont think that is right.

*Dont worry, Its not all Negative things =)*

The Main point of this next part applies to I think all of us, Both eGO members and not. And this is also more of a personal experience....

From my time first stepping into eGO servers, It has been both a great experience, and especially Jailbreak has become a home to me and many others. It is a great atmosphere and a postive energy all the times. From day 1 ive seen friendships and relationships form between players like I have from no other game before. Its almost like a brotherhood. While many new players will not realize this at first, its true. Whenever I personally am having a bad day. Jailbreak is always a fun place to be, got players who have been there for days, or even months that just make things better. Its always such a postive enviroment to be in, Alot of jokes, laughing, and of course Rebeling happens while in Jailbreak that make it the server that it is. Given that Freekillers and Trolls always try and cloud it, we can always conquer them :) Because the mod itself and the rebellers giving guards hell. The general conversations that go on are amazing and can keep me entertained for hours. A brotherhood and a community sure has formed in eGO and Jailbreak that cant be broken. Players ive seen have backed-up and supported eGO members and even brand new public players because of their passion and beliefs that they personally carry with them. While the server itself is changing and evolving everyday with new players, tactics and rules. The community and the atmosphere will last an eternity.

Also that I would like to point out that both the eG/eGO admins (not including myself) have been doing a great job keeping the server together. We will have some nights where there is 1-2 admins on and others with 7-8+ on and its such a good and respectful place to be. Admins all have respect for eachother and know how to do their job and will do it to the best of their ability. And I have to give major props to the e's and regular public players of the community/server as well. Ive seen times where a new player will break a rule or curse for instance, and they too are right on it and are trying to enforce the rules even without the "Fancy Green Text lol" And that is an amazing sight to see, even though they dont have (true) power, they have taken it upon themselves to correct the wrong, and fix the broken to the best of their abilities. And when times get hard, they know when/what to do. They protect and guard the server amazingly.

Finally I just want to give a shout-out to all the "Terrorist Rebellers" (you know who you are) While you do it on purpose, planned or on instinct. The Terrorists just make the server a great place to be, It challenges the CTs and wins rounds, time after time again. While some are good and some are "no so good" at it, its still great to see players evolve and grow. Its always a great sight seeing a T grab a gun and spray down 5 CTs and cause a full out riot that no man could stop. And while many players dont rebel, thats fine no diss to ya :). Whatever your play style is, its working and I love to see it!

Lastly, I want to thank everyone who actually took the time to read all that. And I would greatly appriciate some Input on your ideas as well. Agree/Disagree. Whatever it may be. Feel free to post it

P.S. Panda Loves you all <3

Very well thought out. Some points that everyone should take into account. As he said, do not be so strict if the order is to "freeze" I have bumped my mouse a few times, and been killed, and It can be annoying. Another I would like to add, if I may, Is the problem of admins getting special treatment. Not ST special treatment. What I mean by this is, if an admin disobeyes a rule, such as delaying, or some other silly trick, most people will let them slide. "Oh they're an admin, go on ahead" that really gets on my nerves. Overall, this post should be read by all who play jail. Very good points here.

Dieing straight out of cells has to be the worst. Its the longest wait times for the worst of reasons. Some wardens purposely make orders designed to be confusing to kill half the team out of cell block. They'll shoot the ts without warning them about what they had to do just to pad their kill count. I don't think Ts should be made to "completely" freeze. Go ahead and prevent them from using movement keys imo, just not looking around/jumping/crouching.

I agree with probably 99.9% of this.Definitely the part talking about the warden orders.

Most of the T's will get killed during the first 2 minutes of the game. Many wardens seem a bit too strict and I would like that to cool down.

Many times I get lags and stuff and I'll get killed because I was too slow to do a certain move or something.

Overall though the server is quite fun but just needs some "cooled" down wardens :D.

Nickmadkiller, if I may ask. Whats the .1%? I'm sure pandas dying to know.

Really good post, I like that you pointed out the wrong-doings of CTs that most of the time make me rage, even when I am on CT. And also, as an e trying to "protect the server" I am believing that the people I stop (or try to stop) from being kicked, or worse, banned, are in a way, grateful that someone stopped them from being kicked, or again, banned from the server in a way that does not announce it to the server.

I agree with you Panda and everyone else. I am new to eGo and was amazed at how fast i joined this community. I i just sometimes feel as if the CTs and warden are a little to trigger happy. I wish all players on the jail server would take 5 minutes and read this forum.

I would like to say that in my opinion, the lack of creativity from the wardens can be attributed to the lack of LEGAL games (trivia, russian roulette, odd man in/out, etc), and that by banning these games, a lot of possibilities went right out the door. Sure, trivia turned into "1st Grade Math", but if they just made a rule saying that these kinds of questions weren't allowed, there'd still be something fun to use. Just my two cents

I agree with all your points. Its unbelievable at how many times I get killed as a T because I froze at 5.04 instead of 5.05. I think with cell-orders people should be more linent.

Dont get me started with the freekills. Yeah crossfire freekills happen, but not paying attention is just a whole another level.

Guards shoot first, think later.

The dieing right out of cells thing is the worst that I see. Like he said, it is pointless to be killed about 5 seconds after the cells open and have to wait 10 minutes to respawn. CT's need to chillax and stop being so trigger happy and worrying about the K/D ratio over the fun of the game.

i agree with the OP completely

only time i play "strict warden" is when the ts have decided to rebel for like 5 rounds straight

other than that i try to make it easy for the ts to rebel

and ivan is right

trivia was great until it became 1+1 2+2 etc.

even after it became that i only asked real trivia questions

I like what you said about LR's. I also think ALL Ct's should have a little fun a and participate

I agree to all of what u said and i think ct's should be more loose and that 90% of t's should die in the first 10 seconds of the game.

You need more of us DODers as Wardens! We make it fun!

On a serious note good read. Can't help but agree on your first statement of the Fun day/hell round first round. Too many wardens are quick on the trigger and all it does is develop resentment. I have had a couple wardens who shoot 10 t's at beginning for slightly moving or something dumb.....

I die maybe 50% of the time for not being faced the right way cause I like to listen to music when I play jail sometimes, Its a sacrifice I've accepted before I join.

I do agree T's shouldn't die within the first 10 seconds of cell doors opening, & nobody really likes a super strict warden.

With that being said great post and were all .. well ermmm most of us are there to just have fun, sad thing is the people that really need to read this don't visit the forums *sigh *sags shoulders

one last shot out to general nuisance the only guy I've seen pull off super strict warden without everyone hating him, you sir win a cookie

Really nice Panda.. Your always a goof when I see you on the server.. so its nice to see your Sewis side :) And I think your a really cool guy. So keep it up
