What is eGO jail really?

Jail is bad /thread lololol jk. Now anyway, jail is fail, hence the rhyme. Now for the real reason jail is fail, the ct's are trigger happy. And like you said they forget it is a game. The rounds are meant for the ct's to win not for everyone to have fun. And then you always have the same non fun games. You kill like 10 people when you get the out of their cells and then they have to wait at least five more minutes. Then you send them to couch game, then do some form of climb. Then a low spray and finally lr. You can ask anyone that plays jail often, most rounds go like that,

As anyone who plays Jail with me knows I'm rarely a CT. I do see a lot of trigger happiness which gets upsetting at times. But like the CT's the T's must remember its just a game as well. That's the main point anyone playing has to remember. When you start taking it too serious change teams or take a break. You're not a real prison guard or prisoner you can leave and come back. CT's try to do games they know are safe and the T's cant rebel so they get as panda said clone rounds. I agree games should be more creative and fun, but the rebelling should also be more creative. Find the loop hole in the order and exploit till you get killed or kill the CT who's getting frustrated with you exploiting it.

Another thing I've noticed is the warden's orders not being listened to fully by the CT's. This leads to a lot of freekilling and upset players. Everyone should be listening CT's and T's a like. Its not so bad for the T's they don't listen they get killed. But when a CT doesn't listen then a T gets freekilled. Remember CT's if you don't know the order don't shoot, you have a voice you can always ask. Dying as a CT or a T happens, its part of the game. Its no fun if some one is afraid to die or wants the 30-1 score. To me as a T that's a big target. Remember we're all friends here, even the pubs who come in for one stop visit, and as friends we like to have fun with each other. So enjoy you're time on the Jail server, kill and get killed. Where else can you play where craziness can break out in seconds then 10 people lay dead and you have no idea whats going on.

And like always watch out, you never know when the T's will strike, and what kinda plan am i cooking up within them. Nice post panda, and everyone have fun on the server, Butcher_Foot says to.

I'll give my own opinion. Panda, I'll be honest you are abit TOO relaxed when it comes to opening orders. Lets be true to the fact that JAIL is RP related. As in we take the role of actual guards roleplaying such persona at times when we want to. I play MANY MMO's, and am a Heavy Roleplayer in each. So in defense of some people, maybe they want to feel like an actual warden, ordering actual in-mates. Theres a fine line where yes, it does annoy me to a point where it's like" Hey dude, thats just not fun. KEEP JAIL FUN RULE NUMBER ONE '' (( As I always say )) and all that stuff about being to strict to the in-mates. When I personally give the generic SHIFT WALK BACKWARDS KNIFING DISTANCE FREEZE BY 5 , it's not to kill people myself. I use such time of relax'd wait to think of many original games, as you fellow members most likely see me playing. I usually don't do the norm, and try to keep the game as fun as possible.

As for CT's not obeying LR's because OHH I CAN SIT OUT OF THIS BLAH BLAH BLAH because of this rule I took out of context, I agree 100% Panda. Most of those that don't participate are the try hards that kill the in-mates for bumping their mouses when they should be frozen. To which that I say BOOHOO the Pixel charecter you play dies for one minute. Better then sitting there for 9-11 minutes (( Average round time. )) for bumping your mouse when you were suppose to be frozen. I mean geesh, give and take some.

All in all, a great thread. I hope Rogue gets our Jail sesh in we did with abunch of us on the Public Jail Server. Now THAT was a GREAT time we had. That's the jail anyone like me or Panda enjoy'd. I swear we were all in tears, as you'll probably here from the video from the joking and non-serious yet fun, expedient rounds we were having! Great thread Panda!

I agree with everything Panda says. And Butcher brought up a good point too; CTs dont listen to warden and freekill Ts because they dont know whats happening. All this could be easily avoided. I think CTs should just step back, and see what is actually happening before they kill.

One thing I noticed and would like to comment on is the "freekilling".

Every single time you are killed by mistake does not mean it was a "freekill" and the person intended to kill you just because they could. There are two parts to every story. One thing you all should take a look at is the game itself. It is still survival. Everyone tries to survive to get to the LR (in most cases).

Also one thing I would like to point out is that freekilling WILL always happen. Just the other day, the Ts were going to a climb and someone came running off. My first instinct was to shoot the "rebel" and I noticed I kill the ST I gave. Accidents do happen. Your best bet is to take it, and just wait because yelling at people won't get you anywhere nor will it make the admins work faster.

Wow Thats alot of reading i Readed some of that and I think Noob Wardens kill most of the T's but then again its fun at times to have a happy trigger person because everyone hates him and want him to die

Freekills do happen, and crossfires are the closest that I would label as an accident - the rest of the freekills is upto you on whether you wish to avoid freekilling or not if you care. You can easily avoid freekilling by 1. Pay attention 2. Be less trigger happy - aim till you see the name - if you dont know if someone is ST or not, then just ask if he is ST 3. Think before you shoot, its the least that T's deserve if you failed number 1 and before you send them off to spec for 10min. But the same would apply for T's, instead of running outta disco, they could always shift walk out, not all CT's will be able to do 1+2+3 :)

Didnt read it all, but thanks for posting

New map! New map! New map! New map! New map! New map! More screenies!

Yah panda the freezing situation is kind of rediculous but it makes people not rebel in like the first 5 seconds of the game unless they get the vent cell or the gun. But I really liked your detailed description panda :P

Nickmadkiller, if I may ask. Whats the .1%? I'm sure pandas dying to know.

He disagrees with the usage of the imaginary word "potentional" in the 6th paragraph. He believes the word "potential" should have been used instead.

OP: I agree with your statement that Cryptex is amazing.
