Hey Guys, Question

I have Logitech usb headset and usb speakers and i want to be able to have them both plugged in same time, Anyway i can set it up that only certain programs can work with certain programs, Or a way that i can switch back and forth without having to unplug it, Something easy too for the wife when i go to work and leave headset on.... I hope you all understand my question

This is a tough one.

If there's a way to setup one system as "dominant" over the other, then it would be possible. You could set up the speakers to be the default setup but to be overridden when the headset is plugged in. I'm not sure how you could go about doing that though.

Personally, I just have traditional speakers/headset plugged into my system. They're both plugged in via a splitter, so all I have to do is turn off my speakers and put on my headset. I can even run both of them at the same time. Unfortunately, USB devices are a completely different animal. I do know, however, that if you want to get creative, you can set it up so that games come through your speakers while programs like Ventrilo come through your headset. I have done that before, and it works quite well.
