Guilds in SWTOR

So I tried to join both the Empire and Republic guild but ended up in only the Empire guild. Does this mean we are going to have to have separate accounts to be able to play either side or can are we still going to be allowed to do it like in WoW where you can have characters on both sides on one account?

My guess is that you will be able to make multiple characters. It would be a bad idea on their part if they didn't.

Yes as of right now you can make Jedi and Sith on the same server even pvp:thumbup::thumbup::biggrin:

I believe the reason for being only able to pick 1 guild was to have basic setups for the server.

Yea cause on the Website the Guild is linked to your Account not Chars so Unless they add something where you can join more then one on the website then you would just have to make two accounts for website.

Yeah I think you can have different characters on the same account on different guilds.

I'm pretty sure on the site it says that you can only join one guild before the game launches, but once it does launch you can be part of several.

So if you want to be part of both guilds you'd have to make two website accounts.
