is there a way to up the amount of mgs and snipers on the teams because i was playing yesterday and kept hearing people say, "will someone give me mg/sniper?" it's getting realy annoying hearing all those kids wine about it.

so please if you can could you?

could you imagine a level with 4 mg's on it? if they were all set up in good places it would be silly for everyone else to try anything. maybe 1 more rocket but other than that........ my vote is bad idea.

I agree with Cpl0311. 4 mgs would be horrific. I think the way we have them are just fine. just tell people politely to stop asking and just wait for it.

well now that i think about it, it is terribly crazy.......ty for your guy's opinion.

but what about snipers?
i mean snipers don't really keep the game from being dominating.

They can... imagine a map where half the enemy are snipers. You wouldn't be able to take a step.

2/2 class limits have been widely used for years, across many servers, and have been found to be successful.

I agree... to a point. I've been on servers with no limits, and servers with the exact same. I have also seen the in between.

I personally liked the 1 rocket, 2 mg, 4 snipe setup.

I would be doing my regular rush'n'suicide run, and have a sniper in a window, or secluded place, that my spray gun just wouldn't reach. I try to communicate with the snipers to move up and/or go for the said target, but they are afraid of dying, or cant hi the target.

So, with four i was able to pick up a sniper, take down the target, switch back, and go about my business with the target down for the snipers to move forward. It is extremely hard to convince a sniper to throw down his gun for a shot or two, and give it back to them, cause they think i am going to run off with it.

And lets face it, snipers do not like being camped just so you can pick up their gun :) I certainly don't like lets say we are on donner or Ava allied sides.

It doesn't make one team have more of an advantage like ya make it sound, both teams get the same thing, but yeah with the MG problem, could be a nightmare even for the best snipers.

It doesn't have to change, and I'm not saying it has to, just giving info for the other side of things. :)

the best case scenario is to pick up a drop. however, as rawslade said don't just camp the person until they die. your support is needed else where on the map.

yet again, i agree with this.

But there are times, a sniper never dies, because they camp, badly...lulz. Thats also another great reason to have the 4 setup. Easier to find the drop, and also a better chance at having someone that doesn't camp poorly with it. Survival does not = gg. Elitists that play to have few deaths compared to kills can cripple a team and wins... unless you have been given the great talents of running around with a single shot and strafe, jump, prone your way out of getting hit :) or like me, go suicidal and get lucky a lot.

Like i said, things don't have to change, just speaking for the other side of the fence since it is a one sided argument otherwise.

Oh, and if you are INTENT on camping a sniper for their weapon, at least cover the stairs/doorway behind them, you can get kills and protect them at the same time. Sitting there waiting for their gun is a poor game strat.

alright, alright........but wait........what if the half of the team is snipers and there ALL a bunch of dumb nubs?

@ Rawslade.... what do you expect a sniper to do??? run into a battle with a sniper? the whole point of a sniper is to pretty much camp
