Normal, because its the way the game was designed to be played.
Remember now, no bashing other modes, just comment on what you like about your mode, you can do honest comparisons to help explain your choice but refrain from huge exaggerations. :chair:
I would post what I like, but im pretty sure most of yall know which I like

I also did click on the '' in the similies menu. No idea why it did not include that in the message.
I don't understand the "because that's how the game was meant to be played" argument for normal mode. So the developers want me to shoot a guy five times only for him to walk behind a wall and regenerate health? Or have a floating orange triangle over my head while the enemy team shoots blindly at it? Or fire a rocket at a tank and have it magically repair itself over time? Normal mode is not only less realistic than Hardcore but it is also less balanced. Weapons like the AN-94 and the Semi-automatic Snipers are almost unusably weak where as they have their niche in hardcore game types. Vehicle camera views make flying simple as your fov is vastly increased and C4 attempts are easily countered. Forty percent less health makes a significant difference in game play because you have less time to react before you're dead. In my mind this encourages more tactical play.
1. Hardcore!
2. Because it doesn't take half a magazine of ammunition to kill someone and there are no floating markers above my head

This is actually a very good explaination of why I prefer normal. I've been playing BF since 1942, and HC seems to me like it is taking away from the traditional BF experience. Yeah, we didn't have regenerating health, but the gameplay also wasn't nearly as quick and intense as BF3 is. You used to actually have a chance to get away from the combat and find a medic....that is where the "It was meant to be played this way" comes from, the die-hard Battlefield fans who have played since BF2 and BF2142 and possibly even earlier than that.
This would be relevant if team work was enforced in the game. If I had a dime for every time people used team work in this game besides the random squad spawning I would have..........0 dimes. Like I said in my previous post bf3 = cod with vehicles.Forty percent less health makes a significant difference in game play because you have less time to react before you're dead. In my mind this encourages more tactical play.

Because before the Bad Company series what we call normal was the only setting for BF2142 and BF2 and all the Battlefield games before this. With the Bad Company series DICE/EA brought in the two modes. In BC2 normal was terribly balanced so the vast majority of everyone played HC. With BF3 the normal mode has been tweaked a bit and correct me if I am wrong but the only real difference between BF2 and BF3 normal mode is the regenerating vehicle health. So that is where the "It was meant to be played this way" comes from, the die-hard Battlefield fans who have played since BF2 and BF2142 and possibly even earlier than that.
