Well Christy, you bring up a good point. Why not bring back Jail nights?
It seems like my thoughts have gotten a lot of you thinking and sharing your opinions on my thoughts. Its good to see this amount of response. Lets keep it up!
So lets see, there has been debate on both sides on freekill. I like Banelings idea too of test driving it. And since Christy brought up the old jail nights, i also thought if Friendly fire works out alright if we do test drive it, but maybe we couldnt envision it on EVERY day, why not have a certain day a week or whatnot that we do turn it on? So for some days we have the "classic" jail that so many have voiced already that suits them, but then every once and a while we test drive some new ideas?
Also, Niiro, you seemed to have contradicted my original post the most. I would just suggest next time, learn the difference between what I originally posted, and what YOU thought of. And to answer your rhetorical question, you did seem to break down every point I made. And you say I am offering nothing to the jail server? You mentioned nothing at all that was beneficial to the Jail servers future. I am ok with constructive criticism, but lets keep more personal comments like that out of this thread. It was great to read half a page dedicated against what I wrote, but I started this thread as a place to add your own ideas. Lets keep the ideas going!!!

You asked for our opinion. I gave you mine, I just so happened to not like any of your 'improvements.' :facewall:
It is beneficial to leave plugins out of the server. Like someone else said, lr plugins limit people's choice.
The only real thing the jail needs is originality. No matter how fancy a map, what new games are added, how many people join, 90% of the rounds will involve the same areas, same games, etc.
I would like to see some of the mappers to give tutorials and classes to help promote map originality and more frequent maps.

Also I haven't set foot in jail for quite some time. Maybe I'll make Ill Legend mad by playing there all the time in a month or two.
