Time and time again our jail server faces repeat rounds of Couch game, Climb, Race, high/low Spray, Lr, lather rinse and repeat.
The reason I am creating this thread, is so we have a place to put new ideas for games that can be played in Jail. The ideas can be games you come up with, games other members, or even pubs, come up with, and maybe something you've been debating whether or not to try out. Maybe worried if your game is appropriate or follows all jail rules? With a bunch of other members reading your idea, we can either approve, disapprove, or help you modify the game to be appropriate for our server. Lately I've seen some really neat games being brought by wardens, and I want to continue this trend of new ideas. So to start us off here's one game that I haven't seen in a while.
Its a modified game of climb. Look around the map for a park/playground (some maps this game doesn't apply to). Have all the T's stack on top of one piece of playground equipment. Then warden says all T's must jump from "this" to "that" until they reach "X". If T falls off equipment at any time, T must return to starting point. Best played when there are about 10 or less T's alive. Warden chooses how many winners are taken.
Ill put down one more. I call it long dive. This game is best played again with about 8 or less T's alive. Have all T's get on diving board of pool (yes! finally a game that uses pool!). Warden then puts his/her spray somewhere along the side of pool. Wardens spray then becomes "the mark". T's must jump off diving board (best played from a high dive, not a low dive) and land in pool past the wardens spray. Once T lands in water, T swims to end of pool, and unstacks against a wall or other specified point. Warden keeps calling Ts by name one at a time until all T's have jumped, landed in pool either before or past "the mark", and unstacked against specified finish point. During game, warden keeps track of who makes it past "the mark" and who doesn't. Once game is done, warden kills off thoese who didnt make it past "the mark". This game takes some practice to set up properly (you dont want the mark impossible to reach, nor too easy). But it really is fun and new and exciting if done right.
^ going on that previous game, you can also use the same concept to figure out the LR. Have last 2 or 3 remaining get on diving board and do long jump to get LR. Farthest jump wins LR.
