I have been on the eGO servers since not too long ago, and I have troubles playing often times. The servers all need help populating, something which i am doing day to day. With less non-b2k servers, often times servers are on B2K maps and people like me (who don't have the pack) cannot play and it is frustrating. I just want to request that some kind of limit be placed on the # of B2K maps played per day or something?

I think the B2K mention is a great Drop Box request. I'd recommend posting that there.

Regarding the empty servers as of late, I think that may have more to do with final exams than anything (myself included).

Yeah I just finished my final exams for the quarter. Hopefully they wont be so full later. Only have 2 years left of hardcore gaming

everyone just sits in HC Rush and no one ever wants to leave to try to fill other servers, was trying to fill servers today and all day yesterday but no one would even listen, seems like only a few people are even trying to fill servers.

My thoughts exactly. Most eGO members think its a burden to afk on a server when your doing stuff like your HW. Even AFKing on a server, when it is empty can help fill it because any player that sees a server with 1 or more player, will join. While i discourage afking on a full server, it seems fine to afk on a constantly empty one, like OP METRO 24/7.

We have this cycle. It goes:

fill servers -> get new server for doing well -> stop filling servers -> lose server -> repeat

This seems to be the way it is. Numerous people refuse to fill certain servers because they don't like the map; others make filling servers boring, torturous, and the far opposite of fun.

Yeah, it pisses the living hell out of me to see that someone is not even trying to afk simply because they don't like the gamemode.

Agreed I keep trying to start op metro because it is the only server left like HC city maps and HC rush take all of 3 people to fill because SOOOOO many people want to play it and SOOOO many people have the server favorited. Sometimes though people are like I don't like op metro I dont support it in any way but guys please come on I dont like TDM but i still help fill it sometimes if I am asked like they are still our servers and we should treat them as such. But OP metro has never had the chance for it to build that player base like if we can just get a bunch of admins to afk on it like maybe 10 then it can fill and if we keep it filled for long enough then it will build that player base that op metro players love. /rant over

Thing is people shouldn't refuse to fill OUR servers. Our servers are the reason most players join eGO. Yes we have a play first admin second rule but if we have no servers going how can we play first? If the server stays empty for to long we can lose that server because it's money being wasted by council that they can use else where. If anything Adims eGO rank and up should try just a little more. I know I haven't been around to much as of late but, that time is near when I can play a whole bunch again.

As seeing this is at least the second or third post I've seen about servers not being filled. I think we need to get a group of people who have certain parts of the day free to fill servers.It doesn't take a lot of people, maybe 3-5 (but more would be even better) to get a server started. And if this group had at least 15 members (3 per server) who had the free time to do this, maybe this problem would go away.

Now I'll admit I don't like some of the game modes that we have on some current servers and I'm sure others agree with me, maybe not a lot, but a few at least. And if this as serious as a problem as needing at least 2 posts about it, I really think there should be something done about this.

Maybe we should have our own group of server fillers like the Rangers in DOD. Maybe we can be Special Forces! People that are dedicated to server hoping and filling servers.

yup you know it. I think we should should start it back up IBPJ. I've also seen "people" wont say who, ask to get a sever fille because its the one they want to play in. Then asfter its filled they don't want to go onto another casue they got thier favorite server filled, that is very selfish.

Yeah 6/22 is my last day but I had quarter finals not too long ago.

I agree, I got operation metro to start populating just by joining and going afk until someone joined, eventually several people started joining then I left to go to class.

I also agree we should keep those certain servers b2k and the other ones normal bf3, and keep it at that. instead of switching back and forth like you mentioned. It would probably help get the servers higher in the ranks and get more players.
