I understand your reasoning for not wanting to play under the conditions that you have been put into, but to pretty much anyone else this isn't an issue. Another eGO member could read this and deter from the game even though the majority won't be affected.

Yes 6am downtime will hurt some people, but how else are they going to install patches to better the games? They could be like most games and do it in the afternoon during normal business hours. Instead they wake up early and do a graveyard shift while the majority of gamers are sleeping in order to improve their game. First real downtime that I know of since release.

As far as feeling disconnected because you don't do much other than popping a potion....Well all I have to say is get out of normal and I am sure your feelings will change. I still freak out each time a rare mob comes after me in Inferno. Can't put any hard facts behind an account that is lvl 27.

Your biggest reason is what keeps them in business. Without having a online only aspect they would be copies and torrents after day 1 release. All those that want single player only could just download a torrent without having to pay anything. Now that you need to log online to play alone keeps people honest.

Can't do anything about the font other than playing around with your video settings and maybe get a smaller resolution.
