You shouldn't skim through a post and pick things to comment on without knowing the full story. That's ok thou, I will post it again just for you.

The main point of posting it in the drop box isn't to keep people in the dark. Its to make sure that THE PEOPLE WHO CAN do something can do it. There is no point in name dropping on these forums because then people get upset and it starts that "Soap Opera" mentality. The drop box isn't a place to hide things. If you want to hide something don't post it. The whole point of the drop box is so that leadership gets it directly and can start doing whatever they need to to fix the problem or work out a solution. It doesn't matter how long you have been here or how long you plan on staying. The point for it is so leadership can do something about BEFORE mob mentality kicks in and people play the blame game. TBH I'm surprised leadership hasn't moved this to the drop box or to their private forums, so they can start working on the problem. Next time before you raze someone about a post it in the drop box post find out why they said it. I usually stay away from these kinds of posts but it sounded like something that should have been posted in the drop box so leadership could handle the problem, because we can't other then come and admin instead. I fail to see how this drop box it attitude would crumble an organization, when leadership does their job very well. When we have problems they tend to jump on it and fix it unless it's not broken. The problem you posted to begin with needs fixing that's obvious, but the people to fix it are leadership not us.

TL;DR We can't do anything about this problem. Take it to leadership. e, eG, and eGO ranks when having a problem with another admin either pull the questioned admin aside in vent and talk with him about it or post it to leadership. Also I found what you said VERY offensive.

Ok the summary of the matter is that if you have a problem admining come find an advisor on vent, we can resolves 99% of the issues through Procon.

...thanks for your time and reply Randy....I gotta throw in my towel , I think I've joined a well oiled machine here, it's just a bit too big for my britches. I used to fly with a small group of guys in a WW2 flight sim, being small was the best part....protocall existed, but not like the reams of rules and regs one must go through to satisfy this multi-member clan's requirements (not knocking it, just finding it like dealing with a government agency to get simple things accomplished). Let me ask you a simple question: why no auto-kick or ban on this bc2 server? If you are worried about losing players (there's usually a line to get in for pete's sake) then i understand. Rule abiding players outnumber the loosers who screw up the majority of early day games. I guess I'm gonna shut-up, get back to work, and possibly pull the plug on BC2 in the near future. Once again, thanks for your time on this matter.........Salute!

We don't have auto-kicks or bans because the difference between eGO and many other clans/organizations is that we advertise active admins. The human mind can make decisions much better than a computer. We have the ability to reason, and when admining, there is a lot of gray area, and situations in which a plugin would not work.

And I dont think eGO too big. We also don't have a whole lot of protocal or regulations. Yes there are admin procedures, but they're very simple, and you can decline admin if you want. Being an e doesn't mean you are the bottom of the bucket. It just means you either haven't proven yourself worthy of admin, or you are a more casual player.

I spend 99% of my time in eGO in the Battlefield division forums, vent, and servers. We're a relatively small group compared to CSS or TF2, and I prefer it that way.

big understatement, its more like the CSS and TF2 are like the universe while the bf division is a tiny electron.

What language did I use? :O Sorry if I offended someone but I don't see it. I didn't call anyone a name, or even an insulting nickname.

As to the plugin, I don't think anyone would disagree with whatever leadership decides is an appropriate method of handling any game, provided that the membership knows that leadership doesn't make decisions based on "what ifs" and "sometimes" without considerationg of the actual events actually occurring. If the only reason to not consider the plugin is based on a "what if" than what is the realistic in-game possibility of a problem?

Never mind, I really don't want to start a new discussion. I just want you to know what goes through our minds. My point is my lengthy post was just to say it's getting better, and until it gets perfect we are all part of the solution.

Being new to =(e)= i have found that asking for help on the heavy metal 500 tckt server is like pulling teeth at times. That said i also must add that whenever im in the game and in vent i ask things on and off game and if there is someone there i.e: misfit,beemer,pappa,or swampfox they respond to me and answer with answers that are clear and concise. The base raping and general rule breakages are happening mostly early in the mornings when there are no admins available. So i warn of the rules and how they can find them and if all else fails submit the ban request. I am really enjoying being able to play bfbc2 with my new friends and look forward to bf3 as well.
