Give me 10 reasons why I should get CS/CS-GO.

To be helpful I suppose. 
1. We might gain another member on the eGO CS:S 24/7 servers, increasing our rank.
2. We would gain a new jailer, who could in time become a fantastic new warden, not to mention a potentially deadly rambambling t.
3. Given the family-like nature of the connections we have with each other here on the eGO forums, it's common courtesy given the social climate to be polite, respectful, and, when appropriate, helpful to others.
4. Showing these acts of kindness, unsolicited or otherwise, is one of the nuances that draws people to eGO; so, in an indirect way, you're setting the stage for more successful recruiting.
5. According to certain faiths, such as Hinduism and Sikhism, we all have a certain stigma attached to our lives called Karma. If you help others in this way, it may eliminate bad karma from your life, and allow you to pass on outside of this cycle of rebirth that binds us to the world. So, really, you're saving your soul.
6. By providing 10 reasons why another person should purchase CS:S, you're reiterating to yourself the reasons why you love the game so much. This, in turn, will solidify your love of the game, which will make you a more dedicated member and gamer.
7. Philanthropic behavior is correlated with overall states of happiness. So, ironically, by helping this other person out, you can also be transforming yourself into a happier, more joyful person.
8. Altruistic behavior, found commonly in species such as naked mole rats, is what allows certain communities to survive. The eGO community, while not reliant on altruism to continue thriving, is, as I'm alluded to before, improved by such acts. Therefore, not only are you increasing the chances for us to have more successful recruiting drives (see #4), but you're also fortifying the threads that hold our community together.
9. By replying to this thread, you're bumping the thread higher up on the divisional section of the forums, so other people will see it more readily. Therefore, even if your 10 reasons are unsatisfactory for this member, there is still a chance that another person, who sees the post as a result of your response bumping it, will be able to do so. So, you're increasing the chance that this member will be helped, in addition to your attempt at helping as well.
10. Typing ten responses to this member, in reply to this thread, is a good way to improve your dexterity; typing on a keyboard requires a certain amount of finesse, and by typing out all ten, well thought-out reasons for why this member should buy CS:S, you're not only practicing your keyboarding abilities, but also improving your manual dexterity.

Get both. Here's a great bundle CS Bundles. Much cheaper than getting GO and CSS at the same time. And basically get 1.6 and zero for free

eGO is the only place I visit which has consistently negative feedback about CS:GO.
Other places I visit with people who have perhaps played the game a little longer say that this game is actually playable in a competitive sense as opposed to Source. There are plenty of people who loved 1.6 who couldn't bare Source who are very pleased with what Valve has done with GO.
It is better than Source.

You guys are really good at loving CS. I am considering getting the game.
Though, I think anyone who plays cod and who is in the cod division is really cool too.

True, I should reiterate my comment. CS:S is what the majority of the division plays currently, if money is a concern CS:GO would be the cheaper game to purchase but not as many CS people play that game as frequently as CS:S. Again it's your choice as to what you think is best to play.
