greahhhh, I need my minimap!!!!

it tells me where people are, if we are holding a position, pushing up a position, where we need more people, if we are being flanked, if one of my teams sniper dies where i can pick up his sniper gun.

I agree with Bill, I use it all the time, especially when advancing and I can't necessarily see the person in front of me, I check the minimap to make sure that if he dies, I'm ready for whatever killed him.

Only use it on donner. All other maps, I never use it.

 

[Tangerine]

Used in conjunction with the messages about who kill whom, it can quickly tell you the location of much of the other team, and with a bit more observation, their playing habbits. I use it all the time.

it really depends the situations i'm in! especially MG, i need to make sure i'm not mowin down my teammates haha.

I use it most of the time, but I wish it were smaller.

Sometimes I use it, sometimes I don't.

I use it. Mostly as a preemptive warning system. When you see someone go down on the map, you know where the enemy is.

I use it too, especially on Kalt. If Tangerine is camping on top of their second ladder and killing all of my teammates in sewer I just chuck a nade upthere

Honestly I don't see the need for it as long as FF isn't on. I mean if you doubt what team your target is on, shoot anyway. Enemies die, teammates don't. SPAM THOSE NADES!!

Yea i mostly end up using the mini more often on FF enabled servers. But its good for meeting up with a teammate going for a flag cap from a different route.

I never use it. I simply keep track of the player's name in front of me and watch for their death or kill streak.

It just gets in the way personally. My shovel knows all!

I use it all the time. You never know whose "vut-schteps" they are until you see the map.


Also, you can get a great idea of which tactics to use on your favorite maps if you just sit in spec and watch the map full screen.

[Duality]

The mini-map is the single best tool in the game, I suggest you all use it... it only makes you more aware of your surrounding and a better tactical player.
