Steamsale!!!!

my first game is going to be:

I'm broke, spent all my cash onto battlefield 3 and the halloween sales.

Likely Borderlands 2 for myself, probably the Mechromancer pack as well.

Past that I have no idea, I'd like to save SOME money at least from the all-encompassing black hole that is the annual Winter Steam Sale, so I'll probably focus more on indie games...

I may finally get Skyrim and all the DLC, it's a good price for all of it.

I'd wait on that until a little later if I were you. A big budget name like Skyrim will likely become one of the daily deals and have its price slashed even more, possibly up to 66%.

I have a copy of Skyrim I'm looking to get rid of in exchange for a game worth 15-20 bucks, once one goes on sale that I want.

In other words, if you want to purchase Skyrim for $15-20, send me a PM.

Also, I could throw in a copy of Morrowind to sweeten the deal.

Edit: This offer is open to anyone

They had a Bethesda collection somewhere worth 300 bucks for only $30. Had games like Skyrim and Dishonored. They fixed it so it costs $90 now but man what a steal.

Is it me or does anybody else here think that the Steam sale is a bit..."lackluster" this time around?

It's not just you, there's been a consensus around the steam forums that this one is pretty sad compared to other previous sales. I for one have two gripes:

First is that there's so many things that go on sale in the community vote area that suddenly a day later go on sale in the normal 'valve chosen' games on sale. Example would be today's. Binding of Isaac (while a great game) was on a Flash Sale the other day, and now is a main page sale. A-10C Warthog was the last community voted game before DOTA2 and now it's a flash sale item...

Second, where the heck are all the achievements like they did last year!? That was a fairly large draw for a lot of people, and to just outright axe them seems insanely stupid for something that really doesn't cost much anything. They did it with the Summer Sale as well this year, no 'prize tickets' like they did for last year's Summer Sale.

It's also pretty irritating to see a lot of indie games on the front page daily sales. Granted it's good publicity for them, but they've got sales on indie games in the indie category as well...

Yeah I feel ya, but they still have the achievements. Look below the community choice sales
