The Twelve Days of Caelmas

On the third day of Caelmas, Caelestis gave to me...

...a Snapped Pupil!

Congratulations to Mr. Monday, whose screenshot of one Demoman laughing at his high-five-ready companions struck me as the funniest submission today! I would have also given him a Naughty Crate, but it magically became a salvage crate at some point when I wasn't looking. I blame Johnson for this. After all, he kicked Santa out of our servers, and Santa's wrath is mighty. :(

Nonetheless, on to a new day! You've all been waiting for this one; I can tell. It's Greek mythology day! The first person to answer my question correctly through a private message on the forum wins. Posting here or on my profile does not count! Are you ready for your question? Here we go:

In Greek myth, there is a flood story just like that of Noah's Ark. In the Greek flood myth, how many animals were on the ark?

Good luck!

I like the fact Caelestis doesn't comment to the Zooy stuff, Congrats Mr Monday.

...a Hermes!

Congratulations to Honorbound, who jumped all over today's question right from the word go. As befitting of a question on Greek mythology, he is the recipient of one of my own prized possessions: the Hermes! I'm duly impressed by the number of responses that came in today before 5 o'clock, and a majority of them were right. Many of you correctly stated that, in the Greek flood myth, Deucalion and Pyrrha are the sole survivors of the apocalyptic inundation that is the wrath of Zeus. Unlike Noah, Deucalion didn't give a darn about the animals and booked it in the name of self-preservation. I want to give special congratulations to Sephiroth, Maverick, Goyan-Tanuki, mwjhnsn, Idol, and Puke-N-Snot for giving me the right answer.

I bet that Deucalion's Wikipedia page never got so much traffic in a single day, amirite?

On we go to the fifth day of Caelmas: I'll see you at tomorrow's Class vs. Class. That's at the event server at 9 pm EST. The Class vs. Class, where only the classiest and the classicists are welcome. :thumbup1:

I had hoped 12:04 AM would be enough :P

But can you collect the reward if you yourself are banned?

At the very least, you would want to sm_ban @!me on all servers but the last…
Or maybe just cycle through servers, banning everyone but yourself as soon as someone joined…

...five golden Keys!

That's right! Each winner of a round of the Class vs. Class event tonight won a Mann Co. Supply Crate Key! Congratulate Caps Lock, Strabes, Varil, Sublixt, and Sanctified Aberration for bringing in the big haul tonight because they earned it.

We're now approaching the halfway point of Caelmas. What is the sixth challenge? You need to show me, with screenshots taken today on our servers, the most kills with the Sandman. You can kill anyone you want, but if it isn't on our servers, it doesn't count! Screenshots must be posted in this thread. Discussion of ponies in place of Sandman screenshots will earn you zero points and will probably result in your irrevocable banning at Idol's hands.
