What is up with the advertising or what,but, every thing I do to view our forums results in an alarm, then if I persist it just freezes up. I just switched browsers and it still sets off alarms but so far I can get this post in

It is being looked into as multiple people are / have been receiving alerts from their browsers about the site.

I use Chrome and use no other anti-virus than Microsoft Security Essentials and I don't get these warnings. ... though I could have clicked some 'Do not alert me for this site anymore' box... I don't remember.

If youre using chrome, try adding ADBlock to chrome and see if that helps.

I have it installed for other reasons, but I havent gotten any ads on the eGO website.

Worth a shot.

Using chrome & Comodo internet security and not having any issues. I'm not using adblock either...

I get these problems too (google warning it may be an attack site) but it still allows me to post. Hopefully I'm not getting anything, but I just ignore them and have been seemingly fine so far. Hope it gets fixed for ya Beemer.

It's a problem with one of our advertisers, it's been ongoing for some time. Tech people are working with the advertiser and are trying to get it worked out. It' a pain but everything that can be done is being done. As of yet, no one has reported actually receiving any virus's or such.

Nope. I don't use ad blockers, antivirus or malware protection.

I'm pretty conservative with my web browsing and I've never had a virus or malware. I do occasionally run scans, but I don't have active protection other than what might come with Chrome. I don't even have Windows firewall turned on.

So far, I haven't had one issue. I use FF accompanied with Adblock Plus w/ extras and I run Noscript as well.
