Well, I originally chose "identification01" for everything since it's boring, monotone, and hardly noticeable. Plus, I tend to change accounts and email addresses often, so if I ever do, my next name would be "identification02" and then "identification03" and so on.
(Also, I initially wanted to have as little socialization on the Internet as possible?registering and signing up just to be able to access certain features, hence why I chose that name.)
When I changed accounts and e-mail address, I wanted "identity01", but some sites won't accept it. (I changed my name to that at one time while playing Team Fortress 2.)
So, I basically tried to act like some kind of bot and used my accounts for utilitarian purposes, such as making spelling and grammatical corrections on Wikipedia or watching flagged videos on YouTube and have continued to do so a year since I "started over."
But then came Team Fortress 2. By this time, I wanted something more cre?tive. I still chose the previously mentioned names, but then I decided that I couldn't stand them any more.
Since I was?and still am?interested in linguistics, I would create various alphabets (this is the only field in the subject I'm knowledgeable with, along with phonology) for languages I have yet to make. One of the alphabets is yet to be used for an as of yet nonexistent language based on a language called Iţku?l, which was invented by a linguist named John Quijada. So, I decided to make up a word that used the letters of that alphabet and came up with this:
q?lmnc?i
I later on wanted to use something more tongue twisting, like this one:
đļwy?yawaśm?ś ?lmntf?rhoķ
But then I decided to use something rather unique and random, so I came up with "Darth Elmo". But after a while, I decided to go back to "identification01" just to maintain uniformity with the rest of my accounts.
However, I'm still tired with that, so I chose "Id". (It's not pronounced as I.D., as in "identification".) Id comes from Freudian psycho-analysis, along with ego and superego. While superego deals with morality and ethics, id is responsible for our natural wants, instincts, and, all in all, our survival. It is impulsive and aggressive.
I'm more often than not an aggressive gamer, always trying to do everything I can think of to get to what I want, which is mostly to win the round and as many rounds as possible. Plus, I can be very twitchy as a Scout or Soldier.
So, that's the entire history of my name and its multifarious mostly-unrelated iterations.
