Yes, another one of my tell me about yourself threads. This time it's what you hate and love most about tf2 and why. It can be anything, the hats, something about the 9 classes, certain types of people who play the game, whatever you can think of as long as it's relevant to the game.

For me, what I hate most are arrogant people. I don't really care if you are the highest MLG pro, better then aimbots and speed hackers, 5000/0 kd ratio, if you're going to have the "I'm freaking amazing but we lost because of my horrible team." attitude in game then I'll probably secretly despise you. I don't mind if people complain about their team sucking, just when they start acting like they are the best, that's when I have a problem. Also missing any money in MvM, it drives me crazy but usually I get over it pretty fast so it's not as big a deal.

As for the opposite, I love tf2 most because of how ridiculous it is and can still be taken very seriously. If you think about it, the game is just balls to the walls insane. We got people beating each other with food, guns that literally shoot health, facestabs, magic, pee as a weapon, the ability to impossibly reflect objects with compressed air, robots, rocket jumping, fists that can deal more damage then bullets, hats, the list goes on. Yet, there is still a competitive league where people play the game super seriously. I also generally like the community, although for 3 years I played LoL so I've seen some pretty bad stuff and my standards are pretty low.

I hate da hats and trading.

I love the people that play and how nice they are.

EDIT:
I HATE Force-A-Nature scouts. . .

I love killing Force-A-Nature scouts

I hate random crits.

What do I love? There is so much in this game I love. You don't have to pay to get better, only cosmetics. There's a HUGE variety of stuff, weapons and otherwise. It has a full-blown economy. The gameplay is insane. Yet it's such an amazing game that isn't too crazy to take seriously.

I hate it when I die. I love it when I cause other people to die.

I love hats and clicking heads, but I hate how there is trading.
Okay trading may be a love/hat thing, but still irks me.

I'm glad you guys have spent so much time thinking about this :glare:. I personally enjoy crits, always feels satisfying when you get the dumbest kind of kill in the game. Whenever I get killed by one it makes me feel better that it took the dumbest kind of kill in the game to kill me.

Hate is quite a strong word son. I prefer the term problems. When I first started here I had a lot of problems with TF2 but being an Engineer I soon found solutions to those problems. Most of which involved a gun. Then a little gun for bigger problems. Finally when there come a problem that just too big for my guns to handle that seems to be a problem for everyone else on the server I just use a hammer.

Hate is a strong word. But I guess the one thing that I hate or what irks me the most is people who cannot stand being beaten. These people will use every excuse to explain why they lost or will nonchalantly go into spectator to remove the dominations or explain why their killer was a noon for killing them with an OP weapon.

I love the variety of maps the most. There are so many different maps with so many details to learn. It is very satisfying to master a new map and easily take down others because you have the advantage of knowing your environment.

I agree. Random crits are almost my favorite, but the map variety wins cause I could play without random crits if needed.

I love pyros.

I hate everything else. Especially scouts. Scouts smell good when you burn them.

No seriously, I love the voices of the characters and their silly art syle.

I hate the piss gun.

I dislike spies, engies and demo now cause they are OP... I can tolerate a sniper and uber heavy medic.

I like the community and the cartoon style the game has as opposed to other games in the genre.

The thing I hate the most is when there are certain players that can perform moves and make shots that no one else can duplicate. If no other player can duplicate that move or make that shot I consider that as hacking/cheating. I have seen some player make impossible moves and impossible shot in this game that even the best TF2 players could never make. If its a duck, call it a duck.

Actually, I take mine back. I love the classes the most! Each one is unique, from their looks to their backgrounds to their voice lines. They aren't just generic soldiers or terrorists like from other games. They have personality and a story. I remember watching the Meet the videos over and over again when I first saw them. Those videos really got me hook onto the video game before I even bought it!

Call it luck or as I like to call it a target level of skill to achieve with patience and training.

Well it is a strong word, but that's what I was asking. I was hoping we could look past the things that we just disliked and find annoying like crits. Take my own as an example, I really can't stand arrogant people. If I ever encounter those types of people, usually I try not to make it big deal out of it and ignore it. Sometimes if it gets bad enough I leave the server completely so that I don't have to deal with that person anymore. I know for a fact this bitterness towards these kind of people has stemmed from my experiences in the League of Legends. Anyway I understand if you guys don't hate anything in tf2 it's a fantastic game with not much to despise, I just wanted to know if anyone else has any similar issues, which quite frankly I hope you don't because it sucks hating something. I also threw on the what you love part to help balance out all the negativity, it's always nice to remember why tf2 is the best hat simulator in the world.

TLDR: Don't play LoL, it makes you a bitter hateful person.

Something I hate, people that kill me (basically everyone) and killing me is now officially a banable offense. I also really hate pyros. There is always some pyro that kills me every time I try to play spy.

Something I love? Getting revenge on people who kill me :3 I love how many otaku's play TF2 and are in the TF2 division :D
EDIT: SFM, I love SFM.
