So it's officially 2014! Welcome to the new year!

It is one of CS Leadership's resolutions to try to make this year one of the best we've experienced in eGO! With that said, we won't be able to accomplish that without YOU.

So this thread is being created for you to let us know a few things:

1) Personal Resolutions to help the CS Division
2) What can leadership do to make the CS Division better
3) What changes would you like to see within the CS Division
4) What changes would you like to see for our servers
5) What suggestions or even constructive criticism do you have for us
6) What have we been doing well that you'd like for us to continue
7) What haven't we been doing so well that we need to improve on
8) Anything else you'd like to mention

I'm opening this thread in the hopes that our members are mature enough not to troll and/or be overly immature with their responses. If I am proven wrong, unfortunately, this thread will be closed and the responsible parties dealt with accordingly. With that said, thank you everyone for supporting us and I hope you stick with us for this upcoming year!

Here is what for me:

1. Personally I want to make a push with the CS:Bros program and see it to success.
2. Personally I miss things like bounty hunts in the servers. Stuff that can help fill servers and show the true fun of eGO and the CS division.
3. As far as the division goes I think it's doing very well.
4. Our servers need more population but I believe that this will get helped/fixed once the server filling team starts up in force.
5. I believe leadership is doing their best. Of anything would love to see everyone in source servers more often. It's always fun to dominate you guys :)
6. I have almost everyone from leadership on my friends list so for me it's always easy to get in touch with one of you over an issue.
7. I won't say this is a leadership problem but I've noticed in the past two or three eGO news letters I've seen nothing from the CS division.
8. As a division overall I think CS is doing well. I'd like to see more expansion into CS:GO which would require a lot of thinks to venture into, ie RCs, ECs, the Bros, etc.

1) Basically help this division in any way I can, would like to help in the admin training field. ( if that's a personal resolution, if not just ignore it. haha)

2)Being honost, I think you guys are doing fine, just keep up the good work.

3) I know it is in the process. But I'd like to see us more active within the CSGO field/server. (maybe an event for CSGO held or something like that)

4) Just to be back at the places we were a few months ago. ( Overall more full)

5) Do what you're doing.

Thanks for giving us this opportunity, Leadership.

1.) Well I'd like to dedicate some of the free time I have to eGO and help in anyway I can, mainly by recruiting.

2.) To help out the CS Division leadership could help fill servers like jail (which they have been!) and highschool.

3.) I'd like to see jail have at least 8 people on daily.

4.) I'd like to see all the servers full!

5.) My only suggestion is to keep working on the jail server to get more pubs to join, other than that keep it up!

1) Personal Resolutions to help the CS Division: Fill the CS:GO server every night.
2) What can leadership do to make the CS Division better: Fill the servers with us more often (more people join when leadership are in there) More than you do already :D
3) What changes would you like to see within the CS Division: More GO activity, more interest into competitive cs
4) What changes would you like to see for our servers: More Go activity.
6) What have we been doing well that you'd like for us to continue: Being social
7) What haven't we been doing so well that we need to improve on: More contests
8) Anything else you'd like to mention: Comp team ftw.

Comp team hosted csgo tourny?

1) Personal Resolutions to help the CS Division- Do what I can to make gameplay fun in jail. And FILL JAIL :)
2) What can leadership do to make the CS Division better. Play in servers with all players, not just in jail but like Italy, Office, and Dust.
3) What changes would you like to see within the CS Division- Comradery with all players. No more clicks within each other, branch out and talk to other players!
4) What changes would you like to see for our servers- Restriction on number of paras that can be used. like 1 per team.
5) What suggestions or even constructive criticism do you have for us- Lately there haven't been any events happening and I'm assuming thats because of holidays but i'd like to see more vents :)
6) What have we been doing well that you'd like for us to continue-Helping anyone and everyone with their problems.
7) What haven't we been doing so well that we need to improve on- Like i said before filling up some other servers beside jail, (Italy, Dust, Office)
8) Anything else you'd like to mention- When you join a clan/organization I consider that to be joining a family. No matter how annoying or how intelligent one can be, you never leave their go behind their. If someone has questions help them. This is the holiday's, time for joy, fun and friendship!

Hope everyone has a safe 2014!

1) Personal Resolutions to help the CS Division: Need to strive for more activity in our less populated servers (Highschool, Jail, Office) and recruit more diligently.
2) What can leadership do to make the CS Division better: Keep up their presence in the servers and teamspeak (public channels)
3) What changes would you like to see within the CS Division: More activity in servers and bigger presence in CS:GO (on OUR server)
4) What changes would you like to see for our servers: Bring Highschool back to it's former glory. Get CS:GO server filled
5) What suggestions or even constructive criticism do you have for us: People do not take credits or really any prize seriously enough to try and fill a server. It isn't really working, have to think of something else. Also, all of the plugins on Jail just makes me not want to play. Way too much to download.
6) What have we been doing well that you'd like for us to continue: Leadership's presence amongst the players. Love being able to talk to leadership just for a good time.
7) What haven't we been doing so well that we need to improve on: Need to improve on techniques to fill the server. Obviously our prizes are losing their first impacted interest.
8) Anything else you'd like to mention: Leadership, you are doing a great job, but now is the time to push the limit and get the year started off on the right foot!

1) Most likely will be absent from playing on the servers, due to school and work, so have a greater presence with the CS:Bros program & on the forums.

2) Leadership has been doing a great job, from what I've seen. Thank you and keep up the great work!

3) Nothing. I think our division is running along very smoothly thanks to Leadership and all those who are part of the CS Division and those who are not.

4) G's and O's being much more thorough with maintaining full servers, in that, there aren't 5-6 spectators and a full server going on. I come into a server and there might a couple to a few admins playing but nothing being doing about the full server status. I've gotten lots of PM's and even in-game chats, asking for the spectators to be cleared out so pubbers friends and others can join and play. I know the rule is "play first, admin second" but giving warnings to spectators and kicking them, eventually, doesn't take a whole lot of time. Could be done when a G or an O is dead or idling about.

5) Nothing to criticize from my stand point.

6) Restarting the servers, especially Italy, when they crash. I love that leadership is on the ball about that.

7) I think leadership is doing a fine job.

8) Stressing the full servers again. Getting rid of ghost ability in Jail -- causes a lot of unnecessary griefing and unwanted hassle (from my own experience).

1) Personal Resolutions to help the CS Division To help improve all the recruiting programs we have in the CS Division and make sure all the CS Division have fun at Events / Recruiting Drives.
2) What can leadership do to make the CS Division better As of right now, you guys are doing a fine job.
3) What changes would you like to see within the CS Division Since we are on the topic of changes, I think it would be beneficial to get rid of the "!ghost" Plugin on the Jail server. It causes huge amounts of griefing and is generally annoying.
4) What changes would you like to see for our servers Just more effort to be put into filling them so we can get back to where we were with server activity.
5) What suggestions or even constructive criticism do you have for us Honestly, right now I have none but maybe getting rid of some or a lot of the downloads you have for the Jail server, it turns away players and it is just generally annoying to have to download so much stuff.
6) What have we been doing well that you'd like for us to continue Being more active with the players of the division it's great that all the new and even old members can talk to you guys most of the time now!
7) What haven't we been doing so well that we need to improve on Hmmm right now, just figuring out new ways to advertise the server filling and so we get more people to participate when it happens.
8) Anything else you'd like to mention Thank you for doing all of your work leadership! Without you we probably wouldn't have a CS Division here for all of us to have fun in!

1) Personal Resolutions to help the CS Division:Lead. Just because I'm not leadership doesn't mean I can't lead in other ways. I always seem to have fun ideas and bringing those into the SFT will hopefully spark our servers to #1. My honest personal goal is to join Spark as a demo review and ban advisor some day. I have always had an eye for hacking (it's in the name ;)) and I'm getting a better understanding (if not complete already) on what the line eGO has in the sand for what they deem enough evidence or not.
2) What can leadership do to make the CS Division better: I can't think of anything at the moment. I've been pleased with leadership thus far.
3) What changes would you like to see within the CS Division: More cake!
4) What changes would you like to see for our servers: The only thing I'd like to champion is getting a plugin that limits nade purchases. It's really gotten bad in office with a few people (hard to determine which ones specifically) where they are spamming smokes and flashes. I can send general warnings out, and try specing people but it's still a hard thing to determine, (no it's not even from picking up dead people's nades). It's strictly from people abusing the time limit for buys.
6) What have we been doing well that you'd like for us to continue: The willingness to try new things no matter how horrid the outcome may be is awesome. I know people complain about changes, but the chances that good ones stick around and make the place more fun is high and props for that.

Thanks for the responses, keep them coming! This will help us to plan for the future!

1) Make CS-SFT the best team eva and increase our servers to their highest potential. Oh, and get Minigames back! Hello?

1) Personal Resolutions to help the CS Division

I would love to become an admin trainer, once I'm able to, and help recruit more players into Edge Gamers. My main goal for this year is to climb the ladder and hit eGO Veteran status, which may be hard because I leave for military purposes in June, and I'll be gone until January of 2015....

2) What can leadership do to make the CS Division better

Advertise! Advertise! Advertise! There are many small programs within the division that many players haven't heard of. Programs such as the recruitment program, the CS Bros program, server filling, etc. If Leadership can advertise these smaller programs, maybe us players would become more aware and willing to help out!!!

3) What changes would you like to see within the CS Division

I think the division is great as it is, but if I were to change one thing, it'd be more events for CS:S and even CS:GO. I know the ECs are busy getting events up, but maybe adding a couple more responsible, experienced, and trustworthy members to the EC program will help them with planning events for the division!

4) What changes would you like to see for our servers

I think our servers are fine as they are, but if I were to change one thing around, it'd be increasing the amount of players allowed on the cs_italy and cs_office servers to 48, like the de_dust2 server. That way, we don't have people waiting forever trying to get in the server.More players = more fun!

5) What suggestions or even constructive criticism do you have for us

The Counter Strike division is a fantastic division to be a part of. I feel that Edge Gamers wouldn't be here without it, which is why I feel our Leadership members are doing a great job. Suggestion wise? I think we have a lot of PSC members, but that's a global eGO thing, not just CS:S. What would be neat is if all PSC applications were split up between the divisions: CS PSC members process CS apps, TF2 PSC members process TF2 apps, so on and so fourth. This allows the PSC to keep their eye on their own division, without having to worry about other divisions, in case an unwanted player arises in another division. This should also take some of the workload that PSC advisers/leadership go through to make sure every applying player is legitimate.

6) What have we been doing well that you'd like for us to continue

The admin training process; I believe it's a very smooth, simple yet informative process for both new and experienced admins in the division. I think going into a server, having a trainer guide the admins
through setting up their admin to work across eGO CS:S servers is a great way for admins to learn, but holding more classes a little more often would be nice.

7) What haven't we been doing so well that we need to improve on

A lot of the eGO servers have been clean of admins, which gives other players the opportunity to break the rules. Even worse, some of the =(e)= ranked players don't use the global admin chat to address these issues. Part of it might be because the newer players don't know how to use global admin chat to address other admins of any issues, so teaching those players how to do so may help keep our servers cleaner!

8) Anything else you'd like to mention

eGO is my life!!!

1) Personal Resolutions to help the CS Division Like to get more involved in the division. Also wants to get more recruits and more members part of the CS Bros!

2) What can leadership do to make the CS Division better Honestly nothing comes to mind at this time. You all are doing good i guess :-p

3) What changes would you like to see within the CS Division I honestly feel like we have a group of RC's but I NEVER see any recruitment drives unless done by Drew. Why are you an RC if you don't have any drives?

4) What changes would you like to see for our servers I think the !ghost needs to go away from the jail server. Way to many trolls.

5) What suggestions or even constructive criticism do you have for us I like the idea of random awards on jail server BUT feel they are not given out equally or enough. I have personally played on a jail many times and played once for over an hour and never received one award. Others had gotten it many times. Just feel it can push the pubs away from playing. Could be wrong

6) What have we been doing well that you'd like for us to continue Some of the things that i have seen recently is it feels that leadership is more involved with the players. Not always in leadership channel and actually helping fill servers and playing in the servers.

7) What haven't we been doing so well that we need to improve on Giving me a promotion!!! No just messing honestly cant think of anything right now

8) Anything else you'd like to mention Thank you for one this so we can hear peoples feedback but also thank you for all that you all do within the CS Division. Without you all listening to the members we wouldn't be who we are today. Thanks

1) Personal Resolutions to help the CS Division
Improve server rankings
2) What can leadership do to make the CS Division better
support us act like u have our back and not just there to make sure everything is ok
3) What changes would you like to see within the CS Division
none i can think of
4) What changes would you like to see for our servers
we gotta see if we can reduce the amount of times the servers crash
5) What suggestions or even constructive criticism do you have for us
none
6) What have we been doing well that you'd like for us to continue
idk how to put it
7) What haven't we been doing so well that we need to improve on
none
8) Anything else you'd like to mention
CS Rules
also sometimes it seems like we are lone admins acting on the server and it shouldn't be like that we should make sure we all have each others back

1) Personal Resolutions to help the CS Division
To keep up the energy and pace that I had last year

To continue to improve myself as an AT

To help the CS:GO Comp Team win in CEVO

3) What changes would you like to see within the CS Division
A better presence in GO, but mostly to encourage people to play Source.

5) What suggestions or even constructive criticism do you have for us
There should be more advertising that we have servers in Source and GO, besides the server filling team.

8) Anything else you'd like to mention
I am a bit concerned with Valve's purpose for GO. It seems that they are more controlling over the game to get money from competitions and skin sales, which is not why I started playing Counter-Strike. What is leadership's view about the future of Counter-Strike?

TLDR: CS:GO!

The only suggestion Id like to make is: Please give more awards to CS:S members. We have awards and achievements to throw to the air and only few guys ever get them. There's a lot of dudes and dudettes out there that deserve a TON of LOVE from Leadership
