Battlefield 4 24/7 Lockers Server - Request?

Server Administrators may implement and enforce rules that result in minor changes to gameplay behavior or styles as long as these are clearly stated before a player starts playing on a server.

Clearly you are able to limit explosives so long as your notifying the users. That was my point thanks.

As long as in the server description/title it clearly states no explosives we're fine to restrict them.

It appears that that is the case. It just contrasts with what I've heard from BF Leadership in the past.

and your are suggesting?..kill them when do use it? then kick them after X numbers of kills with the explosives

I think he means just leave the server as it is, and i agree with him. If we leave the server as it currently is we can cater to a larger audience compared to what we would if we restrict weapons.
I will once more recommend considering the server ranks before making any changes.
If any servers are to be changed i think they should change the servers that are rarely populated and have low ranks

On a 24/7 Lockers Server limiting the explosives makes it much more enjoyable, most of the choke points become huge explosive fests. Clearly limiting the volume is not a violation of the terms of service for running a server. Either way there are plenty of servers to pick but it's nice to run with an eGO server since that's who I represent as a member.

Because that had been the refrain for a very long time. When we looked into doing a 24/7 metro server we looked more closely at the EULA and realized it was fine as long as we announced it.

Honestly, I feel that the explosives are made for a reason, they help with the flow a lot. I was told by somebody that EA can actually SHUT DOWN THE SERVER just for putting limitations on the game. I have never liked no-explosives servers and I feel that we should keep explosives on ours.

They can't shut down no explosives servers or only pistols knives servers. They shutdown servers that ban things like shotguns or something.

Yeah I think the only thing they can do is limit the amount of explosive ammo a player gets.. It would be nice if you could increase the time that an ammo box replenishes explosive rounds, or that they deplete ammo boxes faster if the user is using them for explosive rounds.

That was what I was trying to say. Thought my post was clear.

i think all grenades are fine but get rid of the bouncy ball LVG and m320 essentially grenade launchers

+1 on the LVG and m320 spam, the v40 is tolerable and limit Mortar Kills to 5 or something because last night it was out of control.

i think it should be kick after 1 warning because if u do after x ammount of kills who really keeps track

The auto-admin scripts that detect all of that keep track, once the explosive spam died down it was fun.

I copied this from EA's ROC (Rules of conduct). They were set in place for BF3, but i doubt they have changed them

They did change them.

They removed the part where it specifically disallowed "pistol only" or "no explosive" servers.

There is nothing against the rules about restricting weapon/gadget usage, as long as it's fair all around (you couldn't make a rule that only allowed the use of X weapon from Y location, or for Z team).
