Server Issues

I remember a while back they had the same issue with the MOTD, JAVA, and Flash. Disabling the MOTD worked for a lot people, even those who were not crashing, but having extreme lag/lag spikes in the servers.

not sure if anyone knows but both the italy and mini-games server crashed late last night early am the whole server crashed for like 10 to 15 minutes

Rdk, Im going to say I love you. I've been having crashing problems recently and your tips have fixed them. Thank you!!

I did a little experiment. I joined ITALY w/o my tags/real name and was able to play 2 full rounds. I disconnected and rejoined with my tags/name. While waiting in spec for a good 45 seconds, CS:S crashed. I'v done all the above of what people have stated but still find myself getting d/c.

I have a feeling it's gotta be something with my cfg.file.

Thanks RDK, disabling html motds helped me in the CS:S servers. However, I'm still crashing whenever I play DoD:S, theres no option to disable that option that I can see. Any ideas for how to not crash on DoD:S? Thanks.
