Hey guys, I was just wondering if I could get some suggestions on guns to use and which attachments to use with them. (I don't have any expansions.) I just recently started using the ACW-R Carbine because of its 880 rate of fire. Anyway, I'd just like to get some suggestions for guns to use and the "Perfect" attachment combo's with them.

Assault: Aek with coyote potato grip flash hider and laser

Engi: PWD with rds/coyote, compensator/supressor, Folding grip if you use compensator, potato if you use supressor

Support mg4 Rds, angled grip muzzle break and laser

I'll definitely look into trying these. Gotta work on unlocking the MG4 now.

Use what ever weapon you have, learn it, if your not good with it, move to something else, find what makes you happy and go with it

This here. Because one gun with certain attachments works for some people and not well for others. There is no "perfect" setup. Yes some guns are better than others but that doesn't mean one gun is better for everyone. Find what you like and stick with it.

The ones i listed are the ones i like to use. While they work great for me they might not work as good for you.As beemer and dib pointed out you need to find the weapons you have good control with. A good way of doing this is using the test range

the aek build i listed requires a lot of recoil compensation due to the penalty in stability
If you're fairly new to this game it's better to use something else

Yeah, I get what you guys are saying. The thread was more or less a way of asking what are some of your guys' favorite guns to use.

My favorite guns by class, as well as the "any-class" weapons:

Assault: Scar-H with coyote sight, compensator (reduces vertical recoil), angled foregrip (reduces first shot recoil), and laser sight (increases hip-fire accuracy).
I really enjoy this setup because the Scar-H has the highest damage model of any of the assault rifles in terms of single bullet damage, and it is laser beam accurate if you learn to control it.
Engineer: CZ-3A1 with coyote sight, flash hider or suppressor, stubby grip (reduces accuracy penalty for auto fire), and laser sight
I like this setup because the CZ-3A1 has a 1000 RPM rate of fire and just absolutely destroys people at close range
Support: M240B with holographic sight (US version), compensator, stubby grip, laser sight or bipod depending on the situation/map
This setup is a pretty standard one, but I enjoy it because of the ridiculous damage model of the M240B, as well as it's accuracy. It takes a little getting used to, but it shines in mid-long range engagements.
Recon: M40A5 with 6x scope, flash hider, straight-pull bolt, canted ironsights
Standard max damage model, fast fire rate, large magazine. Hard to go wrong with this setup for 90% of your engagements. If you want to go super long-range it's probably better to use the SRR-61 for it's higher bullet velocity.
Carbine: AK-5C with coyote sight, heavy barrel, angled foregrip, laser sight
The AK-5C is arguably the best all-around carbine in the game. It's slower rate of fire gives it incredible accuracy with a recoil that is very manageable. All around a very good gun.
Shotgun: 870MCS with coyote sight, full choke, laser sight, 12G DART shells
870MCS with it's high pellet count per shot (I believe it's 15 compared to the normal 12? Correct me if I'm wrong), with the full choke and DART gives it a little bit more range, especially if aiming down sights, as well as the ability to pierce through multiple enemies and thin barriers where buckshot won't.
Designated Marksman Rifle/DMR: M39 EMR, Prisma 3.4x scope, heavy barrel, angled foregrip, laser sight
I've become a huge fan of DMR's the last little while, and this one is without a doubt my favorite. It has a decently high bullet velocity, second to the QBU-88 I believe, very manageable recoil, a 20-round magazine, and a very respectable rate of fire for a DMR. DMR's have an interesting damage model that gives them the ability to 3-shot kill anyone from any range, 2-shot if you get a headshot. The downside, however, is that it's ALWAYS a 3-shot kill even if they are close to you. The SKS is also a very good choice, and probably better for close-range maps like Op Locker due to it's very fast rate of fire.

Hope this helps to give you a little bit of an idea =]

Punch you got it wrong, muzzle brake reduces vertical and compensator reduces horizontal.
