This forum is not, in any way, the appropriate place to post your suspicions of who may or may not be cheating on our servers. This is one of our biggest server rules and applies here as well.

Any and all such concerns should be voiced either on the DoD:S Ban Request Forum with appropriate documentation or brought to an admin or Advisor in private.

Forum moderation should not be required to clean up such threads.

Also, if you are unsure of how to record and submit a demo, please ask any one of us, and we can walk you through it. It's not terribly difficult once you get the hang of it.

If you don't have a demo just yet for the ban request, contact any member of leadership, we don't bite, or you can always use the drop box.

Thanks,

In order to record a demo you need to activate console. To activate console you need to go to options>keyboard> bottom of that box, there's advanced options, tick the Developer Console. The keybind to activate console is ~.

Once in console find the suspected player and type record (demo name) without the ().
Example:

Player K is a suspect, hit ~ type in record K. You should see demo is recording or starting in the console, or bodies falling off of other players for the confirmation. Once that is done, simply type status in console to get a full list of Steam ID's. Make sure to record in first person (hit space bar until then, and click for the player until he respawns after death).

If you feel like you have enough evidence (usually 5 to 10 minutes of demoing said player) send it in to [email protected]. In order to stop the demo simply disconnect or type stopdemo in console and that should cover most of the basics.
