First off, I would like to thank the entire TA staff Chuck, Megs, Boyle, and Dudly for running this campaign. Everyone should understand that without the TA staff's hard work and dedication, there would be no awesome realism campaigns. It requires a lot of personal time to review the hundreds of maps that were available for Dr. Compton and I to pick and to go through each of the maps that we select to ensure that we are able to have a fair and competitive fight.
Next, to the 75th Rangers... what else can I say besides you guys gave it your all week in and week out. From the very start of the campaign, we were facing a very grim situation with our reinforcements delayed due to the rough waters of the Atlantic. Forced to defend Poland with only a squad of twelve brave men, you all performed valiantly and were able to hold off the entire 36th Waffen Division. What we didn't know was that this battle turned out to be the turning point of the entire campaign and became fuel for our desires to free Italy the following week. For the reinforcements that arrived in time for the following battles, thank you all for showing up and without you, Europe would have fallen to Germany.
To the 36th Waffen Division, it was a hard fought five weeks and you were a great adversary. I hope we can meet in the future on friendlier terms. Dr Compton, MatzWhat, and Stormy... what more can I say than... my god did you guys choose great maps to defend. Every week, my command staff struggled to come up with ideas to try and break down your impenetrable defense. It was a very close campaign and I thoroughly enjoyed looking forward to doing battle with your team.
Finally, I would like to thank my left and right hand men, Rufio and Superglue. Without either of you, this would not have been a successful allies campaign. From your dedication to drawing up elaborate attack strategies to keeping track of attendance and promotions, to bravely leading by example on the battlefield, you both exemplify the qualities of a great leader. Thank you both again and I would not hesitate to once again take to the battle field with you both.
It was my pleasure to have been able to serve as a CINC for this campaign and I hope you all had fun and I'm looking forward to the next one.
Regards,
Anti
