Get to Know One Another

Hey guys. I just joined eGO about two weeks ago. It has been a blast playing all of you. :)
This is practically my first online FPS game. I have played some big FPS titles like Half Life 1 and 2, but never really played online FPS games more than a day or two. I usually prefer RPG or strategy games. I really enjoy playing as an engineer in TF2 and happened to be an engineer in real life, too.
I am looking forward to playing more TF2 on ego servers and getting know more members.

So ... me. I'm a thirty-six year old computer trainer up in Los Alamos, New Mexico, although I live down in Albuquerque. When I'm not up here or commuting to and from work (about four hours a day), I study Kajukembo three times a week, go bike riding with my friend Mike, watch movies, or sit on my arse and play video games.

I have four awesome children, two from my wife's first marriage and two of my own. Needless to say, with four kids, two adults, six cats, and a dog - it can be a bit of a madhouse around here at times.

Occasionally, when I'm feeling froggy, I'll post something on my family's website at miesem.com, which can occasionally be interesting.

I'm 16 years old, i live in Pennsylvania. I'm around 5'9" and i like to bowl, go snowboarding with my friends, play laser tag with my friends, and when i have some spare time i sit at home and watch tv, and play video games(comp games, and Guitar Hero 3 currently).

I'm 20! Born in Monterey, California, but... I live in Ohio, which is boring. Oh my, yes. Corn. ALWAYS SOMETHING INTERESTING WITH CORN! I'm an astrophysics major at the University of Cincinnati. I play guitar, been playing for awhile but just starting to get more serious with it! I primarily attempt to play power or speed metal, which... usually defeats me >:0

Oh, also, my first name is Zak! Yeah. It is. It sooooo is.

I'm 36 from Klamath Falls, Oregon. Happily married with 4 kids. I develop/maintain database applications for a company based in Los Angeles, but get to work out of my home office (sweetness!). I've been playing computer games since the Apple IIe days and online games since 1992 (although not as much now that I have a wife, 4 kids and a full time job =)

25 year old Director of IT living and working in Orange County, CA. Virginia born and bred, I loath this entire state. The traffic is a nightmare, the weather is bland and uninteresting, and it seems like every other city you drive through smells like the back end of a sweaty plumber. But the wife is a California native and getting her to leave is an unpleasant prospect. I have my victories though. Like managing two years without even casual contact with her inlaws despite them living 3 miles from our apartment. That's just full of win right there.

Lafinass, I'll bet if you brought her out to New Mexico, she'd love it. Everyone else from California seems to. It's like California without all the ... well, California.

We'll probably end up in Colorado actually. My best friend works ATC out there and has been pushing us to move for a while. Personally, I'd rather hit North Carolina- it's the next silicon valley.

I'm 13, from London, England, love everything to do with computers. Been gaming since the ripe age of about 5 (Game Boy FTW!) My interests include Rock Climbing (Hit 5c on Friday, booyah!) and Snowboarding. I'm known as a kind of geek for knowing so much stuff, and a few of my friends think I am hooked up to Wikipedia in my head. :D

My name is Eric, I am from Columbia, SC, but currently living and going to school at Clemson. I am 19, will be 20 in march. I have played valve FPS games since CS beta, and played TFC religiously back in the day. Right now I am learning to play guitar and chillin whenever I have free time.

Lafin, not ALL of California is like that. :) Central California is actually a beautiful place to live. We have actual seasons here, traffic isn't too bad in most places (everyone has their idiots!), and it's a nice, down-home-type area.

Perhaps this is a good place to start posting

I'm in my early 20s, and I come from Norway. I'm currently working as an intern(graphics design), but I'm taking math on the side, for further edicational purposes. I play games, draws and trains in my spare time.

I'm 26. I still live in the town I was born in, Edmond, Oklahoma. I work at a small web development shop as basically the entire IT department. One of these days I will finish one of my two half-finished degrees of either Computer Science or Business Management. The reason I haven't finished them is that college bores the crap out of me. Young folks that are reading this, just pick a major, stick with it, and finish. Get it done. You'll save yourself a lot of time, money, and grief.

I've been playing TF since '99 when I first started playing TFC. I've been a dedicated demo since '00, and no, Bold, I don't get bored of it :). Back in the TFC days, I was a member of the BoPs (Black Ops) clan. Other than flash games and other little silly trinket games, TF2 is all I play.

I live in a house named Unlucky Spy with my four roommates, one of whom is a 6 month old boy who loves playing with remote controls and pounding on my keyboard. I plan on teaching him how to play TF2 shortly since he and I are the only two in the house that don't play WoW. We have three cats in the house, and I have a total of seven fish tanks that are mostly filled with different kinds of goldfish.

I love anime. A selection of some of my favorite series are: Naruto (been watching it since the 20th episode aired), Elfen Lied, Gunslinger Girl, Bleach, Last Exile, Sexy Commando, SHUFFLE!, Tenjho Tenge, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I also love anything by Hayao Miyazaki.

For more info, check out my Steam page.

Hi, Im Brandon AKA Brex123. i am currently 15 years old, until the 15th of this month. i dont play as much as i should, since homework and souping up my pc are sort of top priority at the moment. this will most likely be my second long time forums (one i keep visiting), with the first being noobtoob.com, a great podcast and a great forum.

i dont play any sports anymore, nor follow and professional sports teams. i do work out to keep myself from being the fatass i once was.

my favorite music would have to be a variety of classic rock, but a good amount of grunge thrown in as well, with Nirvana and Pearl Jam being my current favorites.

i have a steam account, xfire account and xbox live account all under the same name, Brex123

if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

Uh.. Josh, 22, I live in Cali, Ventura. Hmm, 6'3 (or so) 160lbs, No GF atm.. (Too much info?) I work high end finish carpentry, and basicly just splurge on my hobbies.. Anime, manga, games.. Yes. lol. I spend too much time online, but who doesn't. I dirt-bike, BMX, and draw manga. Uhm~ I dunno what else to say really.. I'd like to study to become a pilot.. Or in some kind of animation, but finding time to do that tends to become impossible lol. Anyways ya, I'm currently spending my time in DoD: Source, TF2, Sins of a solar empire, and too many games coming out in 08', that I don't want to add up because I'll realize how much money I actually spend on this crap. I don't like any specific band, just tend to like music in general, depending on the sound, beat, ect.. It's why I don't know like any band names, yes yes, I'm strange. Oh right, I also play PS3 and Xbox live, though there both a little dead from 07' game-wise.

So Cal has seasons... theres the hot, sunny season for three months and the cloudy season with a few days of rain.

I'm 25, live in England, uk. I'm a Radio Producer for the countries largest radio group and I make promo's and ad's for about 42 stations. I'm an obsessive gamer, although I tend to be rubbish at everything I still enjoy playing. Big movie fan and I watch some TV shows that most of my mates laugh at.

Started playing TF2 a few weeks ago and I am hooked. Unfortunately I don't get as much time to play as I could. Love hanging around the forum even though it tends to be at times when everyone else isn't...
