If you are not an serious gamer and play like most of us for fun then buy"creative sound blaster t tactic alpha" comes for $35-$40 and works like a charm. I love it and been buying them for last 3 yrs. I use them for CSS and CSGO. Imo, they are really good.

Personally I choose turtle beach. But that's just me, I just bought 2 px21s on ebay and im currently using it for the first time. my previous headset was a p11 and I loved it so much works on ps3 and pc so that was a plus. and they come in various price ranges depending on what you want.
