So i have been using Windows 10 since October/November 2014 when it was available as technical preview. It has been a journey and I'm still on technical preview and on the latest fast ring build.
Now coming to gaming performance, all my games are working smoothly on windows 10 since March/April and that was earlier than the public launch of windows 10. So any game which ran on Win7/8/8.1 should run smoothly on Windows 10.
Now i see people here commenting about privacy and data, so let me inform some noobs about whats actually happening here.
Rumors about MS collecting your information using windows 10 is somewhat true and let me clarify what it collects. Most of the users surely remember "Action Center" and "Flags" on the task-bar of their computer, that was the way MS used to collect error reports earlier. Now, they have changed the way they collect error report and instead waiting on users to send report the collect them and its automatic. Any generated error report will be sent to MS servers for analysis and in my view thats very helpful. Moreover if you don't wan this to happen then you can opt out of all these features and use that tinfoil cap of yours and be idiotic.
Also, to people here saying "if you use pirated games then your game will be blocked" are certified noobs and they do not know what they are talking about. If you want to know what exactly it is then read Microsoft EULA (End User License Agreement) then you can understand what it is.
Microsoft has decided to actively block 1st party pirated games and softwares and nothing else. When i say 1st party games means, games on Xbox and thats about it. What games you are running on your PC doesn't matter to MS and it wont.
If anyone else who say otherwise should learn to look up on Internet on what im saying is true and all these miss information is baseless.
